The Wrestling Observer is reporting that while tonight's Kofi Kingston vs Alberto Del Rio match is a non-title bout, there's a possibility WWE might make the IC Title up for grabs as creative has been discussing the idea of a World Title vs IC Title match between Del Rio and Edge at WrestleMania.

Thinking about it more, they should've waited for the RAW after the Elimination Chamber PPV for the Rock's return. Because I don't think too many are caring about the results of RAW's match and Miz's match. I'm sure most are wondering, "Will Rock be on RAW tomorrow? Will Cena confront him?"

I agree. That being said, it wouldn't be a stretch for Del Rio's character to briefly hold the IC championship and deem himself worthy enough to be world champ.
