First Look LOBO Script Review!

we should be lobo is the question

ya mean who?

The answer would be andrew bryniarski, who is a big fan of the character, has been dying to play the character in a feature film, and has already played the character in a student film.

he does got the look he is always gonna be remembered as zangief lol

he was a bad ass zangief i must admit is he a good actor being leatehrface does not offer acting chops

Who should direct Lobo?

What about James Gunn writer/director of Slither?....That film seemed to have a Joss Whedon vibe to it, and it certainly had some pretty gross visuals in it too. I feel that a Lobo film should over the top & tongue-in-cheek, and for some reason Red Dwarf comes to mind. IDK why?

MY pick for Lobo? Triple H. Let the squawking begin! :oldrazz:

Hes not a good actor in general, but I think hes the right actor. Think of Perlman as Hellboy, I would say Perlman, while limited, isnt a bad actor, but hes certainly not the kind of guy you think of for a leading role, yet he owned as Hellboy and no one could really play him any better no matter how much more talented they are.

who knew that this was gonna get fast tracked. the article even mentioned that it will start production early next year!

So Green Lantern, Captain America, Lobo and Thor will all get their first live action tentpoles in the same year.

Wow

At this point, the DC/WB strategy seems to be one major and two minors a year starting in 2011.

You can't necessarily conclude their strategy based off of one year.

Wonder will this be big budget or not though, a high budget maybe needed to showcase the action, but something tells me this shouldnt cost more than the $100-130 million range.

Read the Variety article the only thing I don't like is blue skinned? I'm sure that will change, though. Ritchie is a great fit for it IMO.

Now I just need Silver to hire Matthew Vaughn for :ww: and I will be a living breathing version of this

^Yeah, I was confused about the blue skin, isnt his skin grey/white-ish?

actually I was thinking about 2010 having two(Hex and Losers) then 2011 having (possibly Deadman or Shazam and Lobo). With GL in 2011, then Flash up along with Batman. It does form a possible film strategy. Just my fuzzy logic.:woot:

Yes, though with pics like this

I can see why the article writer chose blue as the skin color of description. With the above the lighting gives him a very pale blue/gray color.

Here's his classic look

This is probably the only movie I could see a wrestler being mentioned and not completely rolling my eyes.

What's Tyler Mane doing?lol

I suppose like with every comic book character it depends on the artist on how they draw them and colour them.

But mostly I thought he always looked grey/white-ish.

I've always seen Lobo as DC's Deadpool (who was originally a ripoff of DC's Deathstroke!)

^Yeah, he seems that type of character, its just that Lobo can have a fight with Superman and mostly hold his own!

That is his color, he is pale gray/white

Didnt he break Supes' nose?

He did.

TCK, I can see either Dwayne Johnson formerly known as The Rock or Vin Diesel in the lead here.
