Ok, that pic was NOT there last night when I posted the story LOL! Unless I'm going blind in my old age...

But oh my Hugh!!! That working out every morning at 5 a.m. while he was filming another movie sure made for some great results!

Its obvious the pic has been worked on a great deal. Its Hugh's body attached to a different shot of his face (which is the only thing here besides the background that's from the film). The claws are off as well and notice the difference in skin color when comparing his neck (which is way too long in the pic) to his torso.

A real pic of Jackman...

I have no doubt that Hugh's body is at an amazing point now, but this promo is too unreal for me. The Japanese prison setting is great though.

Because the man ruined the concept of the film. When I hear what singers version would have been, sentinals, hellfire club, a pheonix very much like the one I know and love than I can only hate any one who was artistically in charge of such a calamity. Hugh was the best thing about that film aside from Kelsy being cast as beast, everything else was weak. And weak is a very forgiving word. Hugh tried, I honestly had no idea he was a producer or maybe I would have been more critical of him, but honestly the way fox rushed the film they truly doomed it to the ridiculous crap it was. So you are right Brett Rattner your films well.......they still suck but X3's ultimate failure really falls into the hands of those absolutely clueless fox execs and Zak Penn you basterdizer of Marvel legend.

also, let it be known the fox added hugh as a prod. so he could reap in more $ on the backend. whee !

in the meantime this pic is truly awesome and i've a bit of want to see this film.

Angamb, you're right on the money. The wrists and forearms of the promo shot Wolverine aren't Hugh Jackman's. Jackman has longer extremities, therefore much longer forearms (look at the pic above).

Asteroid-Man, AWESOME observation! What if that's the reason the claws are different? Are we looking at bone claws???

And yes Hugh looks like he is jacked to the ****ing extreme. I hope Gavin spins this movie into a ferocious beauty of awesomeness. Put on your glasses and notice the spacing between each of the 6 claws, how much longer the claws are in the promo pic, and how unlike the claws from the trilogy they're roundish instead of 3D. The promo pic claws also seem to be whiter - ot it could just be the lighting.

I personally think these are just cartoon claws along with a cartoon body that they to put together for a promo shot to get everyone's attention.

I would love for them to be bone claws, but they're probably not.

Jackman seems wildly asymmetrical in this pic. His left side is so much larger and better defined than his right side. I've seen people rehabbing from injuries that didn't look this off. Wierd.
And yeah, the new pic is 'shopped all to heck and back, but I still like it.

Promo shots like these are always touched up a lot. Doesnt bother me, as long as its an accurate representation of what we will see in the final product it's all good.

I remember USA Today released a promo shot of the Surfer back in '07 that had retinas in his eyes. I was stoked on that and then it wasn't in the final product.
