Yeah I did the juicing fast and lost 43 pounds in 30 days.
But man was it tough. I was sick from detoxing a couple weeks, the cravings were non-stop anytime food was around. I even had steady dreams about eating.
It has been 7 months since then and I've gone from juicing, to vegetarian, to part-time vegetarian and as you can guess I've gained some weight back (10 pounds).
So I plan to juice fast once a year to shed, on average, 20 pounds a year. Doing that and remaining a part-time vegetarian is my health conscious compromise and it's not too bad. I even enjoy a burger and fries every now and then.
I would say bacon, but I'm researching changing my diet, and it looks like bacon may be a better choice for me than cereal and oatmeal, so it wouldn't count. I know that cookies and ice cream are bad for me, and I just can't give them up if I tried.
Pizza
Mango

I thought bacon could lead to heart disease. It's one of the things I've seriously considered dropping from my eating habits. Painful as that may be.
Well the documentary I was watching was called Fat Head, and it was talking about how heart disease isn't caused by what we've been told all these years. It broke down that our arteries get inflamed by eating too much of the wrong type of food which is a lot of grains, and that eating more protein in addition to cutting carbs helps a lot. He basically tore Super Size Me a new one, and examined the Lipid Hypothesis that has been passed on for decades now through certain groups pushing agendas through the government.
I do want to research it though because I've eaten a lot of carbs willingly because I felt that was the best type of food for me, and I don't want to drastically change my food ideals just because of one movie. If the low carb diet adds up then I'll eat more bacon and eggs for breakfast rather than cereal and oatmeal. We'll see how it goes.
I had an ice cream pint for dinner though. lol Just wasn't hungry and ate that just because.
what if there was a mango pizza what would you do then kane huh huh huh

I haven't had pizza since I started working out and getting healthy and every now and then I think about ordering one but I always feel like I'll mess everything up if I do especially if I'm eating it by myself.
Pizza. Why is it so good? It's just bread/cheese/tomatoes!
