Apparently, Eddie got rid of Mike Anthony, bassist since the band began, to bring in his son, Wolfie. And if you think replacing the bass player that's been with the band for the last 30 years with a 15 year old is something, here's another kicker for ya. Apparently, they wanna get "Diamond" David Lee Roth back as the frontman for the group. Let's see how long that lasts THIS time, eh?

I wish I could say I was shocked. But seeing how Eddie did Dave in '84, and how he's pretty much done everyone involved in the band for as long as it's been around, I'm really not shocked. Eddie's always had a "my way or the highway" mentality, so him adding his son like this really doesn't suprise me.

What's worse is that I'm apparently four months late for the offical annoucement, but just in time for the answer to "What? Are you kidding?"

He also wrote "Spanish Fly" and "Little Guitars", but that doesn't always make him right [proof--look at the Van Hagar era of his his career :P]. And I'm not doubting that Wolfie has talent, but, to me, this seems....I dunno. Sudden, yes, but also, disrespectful to Mike.

Also, I don't understand the love for Jump. Before we became enlightened and realized how offensive a thing it is to say, we would say that the synth intro to Jump is one of the "gayest" things ever, kind of like the intro to Sweet Child O' Mine, ...but of course we've since learned to choose better words 'cause that's against the rules.

Really cool bands remind me of classic Superhero teams, all the disparate personalities uniting, like Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca.

THE awesome team is and was, the one that featured the thick wall of Michael Anthony.
He's like the fat guy in Gatchaman/G Force/Battle of the Planets!
