Have any books referenced all the inevitable batarangs, ropes Batman must lose in the heat of battles? Green Arrow's arrows? Have they referenced how they keep their fingerprints/DNA off of these weapons?

Also, is GA's identity still a secret?

no but the ArrowMobile ended up on dcBay :P
Batman bought it for $20.000.000, and gave it to GA so he could destroy it..

and yes.. GA's identity is a secret, a poor secret

EDIT: re read the issue.. and had to change a few thing..
PS: Batmans handel on dcBay is Fladermaus :P

I don't know why they don't just come out and say GA's identity is public knowledge. All his villains know who he is, and, frankly, claiming his identity is still secret just makes the people of Star City look about a thousand times more stupid than the people of Metropolis. At least Clark is a fairly inconspicuous--clean-shaven guy with black hair; not so distinctive. The people of Star City can't take one look at the facial hair on well-known local hero Green Arrow and well-known ex-socialite and current mayor Oliver Queen and put two and two together?

There was one story just a few years ago that showed that the batarangs have tracers inside of them, which Batman uses to track them down every so often.

i belive it was once stated that goatie's are really popular in Star City..

Goatees identical to Errol Flynn's in The Adventures of Robin Hood? That's not common anywhere.

They ought to show or make reference to every now and again one hero subbing for the other - Batman (Nightwing, Superman, whoever) swooping by an event that Bruce Wayne is at. Same with Oliver and Clark. Seems easy enough to do.

It happened all the time in the Silver Age. If Metzler stays on Justice League of America, look for it to happen soon.

I did not know that.

danm.. missspelled.. its with an E not an A, but you got that

In Manhunter they showed a room full of lost arrows and batarangs and other Superhero equipment. Kate raided it and made a costume out of it. Apparently the DEO goes around collecting stuff left on the street and off dead superheroes and just stores it in places.

Abit of dcBay from Green Arrow #33

cant remember that .. what issue was that? i have to look that up

My friend has a real batarang it's actually sharp and can cut you.

Yeah, but crazy bastard changed his costume so many times, you never know.

Is that Hellboy's hand up there?

It might just be an artistic homage. But it couls actually be another one of Azrael's Gauntlets.

Here's what I don't get: Kate's gloves were supposed to have come from Azrael, but they don't look like any of the gloves Azrael's ever worn on any of his costumes.

Yeah, they've taken a lot of liberties with how they look. I think they are specifically meant to be the Gauntlets he wore when he was Batman so the spiky silver ones.

Without the blue parts and some imagination you can kind of see the similarity.

At least I can see what they are going for
