Black Widow is actually an excellent example of subverting expectations of what a supporting female character could be. She knows men are attracted to her, and she uses that to her advantage. If you missed that, you missed the entire point of the character. It's undeniable that she's very well represented in the movies, save for possibly IM 2 where she didn't really have all that much to do but even then she wasn't objectified.
Also it doesn't matter who the "top 3 Marvel females are" if they aren't represented well on the big screen.

We aren't going to see a giant guy in a purple hat and a silver guy on a surfboard in a "lo-fi, gritty" FF. We barely even got that in the campy FF Tim Story movies.

We've had time travel in DoFP and X-Men Apocalypse is debuting Alien Tech. It's only gonna delve deeper True Believers

The X-men will delve deeper into their corner of the universe, while the FF will stay forever on the sidelines as long as they're at Fox.

Simon Kinberg did last work on FC script and was princapab writer on DOFP.If he can use some of good work to FF as he did on those films then FF could turn out good.

People want the FFINO to fail because it is a star-free, grim and gritty, cheap rights grab that bears no resemblance to any version of Marvel's First Family ever. The tone, casting, and costuming is an odd combination of depressing and laughable. It may or may not be a decent film, but it will be a profound disappointment to anyone with the slightest degree of affection for the classic source material.

If FOX had put the same effort and resources into FFINO that the studio has put into their X Men franchise there would be no talk of "studio wars" and fanboys picking on poor widdle FOX.

The FF in reboot are based on those in Ultimate FF and kinberg says there will be elements of classic FF in there too.Be based on ultimate FF is total valid.Aaron taylor johnson said age of ultron is more based on the ultimates.

While i wouldn't have cast a black actor for human torch lots of characters are having race changed for films and TV.

These are good actors hired for FF.Miles teller and Michael Jordon are posed for major stardom.Thing is very done CGI.The actor who plays doom was great as Kobra In dawn of planet of the apes.Kae Mara has gottten better.

They are following the X-Men casting process.Get good actors.

So what? If the budget is $100 million it will be less than any other Marvel or DC team up film, and completely inadequate for a FF film.

There's not a chance in hell FOX would have greenlit this film unless the rights were set to expire. Hence the term "rights grab". But if FOX can trade the FF character family for X-Men TV rights - remember, the ones you were convinced FOX already had - then this will be a good deal for the studio.

Exactly. They're not wrong for keeping their poperty.

Marvel signed them away freely under these term, hindsight is against them but they are the reason Fox has the F4 If it wasn't Fox it wouldn't ve been another Studio or another that bought what Marvel was selling. The only common element in any scenario is Marvel, the seller.

I wanted the FF character rights to revert to the MCU, but was willing to give the film FOX announced back in 2009 a chance. It became clear early on that the film Trank was putting together was not for FF fans.
