I'm surprised people aren't watching Supernatural

People are stupid.

While I don't know if it could be considered a reason, but I think the fact that there are actually places in the country that don't have a CW affiliate may come into play. Certain regions may just not carry the network altogether. Factor that in with competing with the big three (or four), and you've got a show that don't get watched much. Maybe. Believe me, I'd love for it to be doing better. Granted, the show is lasting long enough to finish whatever plan the creator has had for it from the beginning.

Didn't someone connect a lot of these cases to "The X-Files" and didn't the season premiere episode where Broyles is being asked about the Fringe division in D.C. Remind a lot of people about the X-Files where that division was being considered to be terminated in D.C.

Same thing with these creature episodes they remind me of the creature episodes in X-Files. All I could think of was the X-Files Peacock episode with this one with the inbreds in the house that I could swear looked the same as the one they used in last night's episode . Practically the same setup and also pretty much the same setting. It would be funny if they some how came back and linked Fringe to X-Files somehow down the road as the X-Files reality being the other reality. Not to mention it looked like the same house/location that was used in X-Files' episode "Home"? If not, it was eerily similar.

There's a connection... More then it just be coincidence. I think the possibility of Fringe being in the same universe as "The X-Files" is quite exciting I must say.

In addition to the X-File scene, in the season premiere, when Broyles is testifying in front of the Senators/Representatives, the lead Congressman says

"... Technology run amok. The old 'X' designation and your Fringe investigations have ..."

"The old 'X' designation" is a clear reference to the X-Files.

Oh of course, it's being filmed in Vancouver now and the X-Files were filmed here as well so I guess they wanted to pay homage.

I DVR Supernatural and watch Fringe....for now...that may change as the season goes on

I'm the other way around, because one, I prefer to contribute to the original broadcast ratings for Supernatural, and CW's media player is dogs*** compared to Fox's.

But without a Nielson box in your home, no network is going to know when you're watching it or not. Ironically, they CAN tell when someone is watching their shows off of their website.

watching it online will NOT help keep it on the air....just ask Reaper and Terminator : TSCC

It was stupid of them to move it from Tuesday to Thursday anyway. I mean what the hell do they show on Tuesday at 9pm? Some reality crap?

right now Tuesdays are Hells Kitchen (which I like) and So You Think You Can Dance? (which used to be on Thursdays where Fringe is now)...Fox also wanted Bones and Fringe together because they have pretty much the same audience....fox wants to get in on that sweet Thursday rating pie that the other channels are getting

"Fringe"
"Grey's Anatomy"
"CSI"
"The Office"
"Supernatural"

It's the only hour in the week I have to choose a program to NOT record, because my DVR can only record 2 at a time.

not to mention Survivor (when its on) Thursday is the biggest TV night of the week

They did a good job a making it look like America but that CN train at the start of the show gave it away to any Canadian watching.

The CN trains appeared in The X-Files as well.

Though I thought the creature was something scarier than most monsters from The X-Files.

That's hilarious! I didn't even notice lol.

[BLACKOUT]I heard about some filming they did with a stuntman falling from a parking garage, in the pictures he looks like Charlie, apparently Olivia, Peter and some other all watch him fal so maybe he gets exposed and kills himself? [/BLACKOUT]

ZOMG...if they cancel Fringe i'm just gonna give up on sci-fi tv. :/

I used to watch Supernatural every week...but the storyline with the devil escaping, etc....just didn't grab me, so I haven't been watching anymore.

Heya,

Not to bad, and nice build up for next week, IMO. If good as the previews show, it looks like minor things are startin' to kick off, which is a good thing.

That puzzle part was hilarious, along with the burger. =D

Another enjoyable watch, IMO.

So Olivia also has accelerated healing?

Bet shes going to develop TK by the time the series is over.

Yes thats what I got out of it, that her remaining injuries and the shakes have more to do with her mind than anything else.

I really enjoyed the episode, interesting that the people keeping tabs on Walter also had people after them. I can't wait for next weeks episode.

The stuff with the Observer at the end! Man that had me on the edge of my seat

Man, that shapeshifter Charlie sure knows how to take a bullet. Kind of shocked how recklessly Walter allowed Peter to be around during the experiment considering he'd glow like the Fourth of freakin' July to her.

Yea but in his defense only god knows what all psychotropic substances Walters on at any given moment. Lol
