the show isn't even over and i could tell [blackout]the Olivias are switched[/blackout]

Heh heh. Your brain works, then. I don't think anybody was surprised by that...

I love Fringe, but this season finale was a disappointment..the show wasn't even half over and I could see the switch coming.

Will have to wait until next season to see where they will go with this.

Anyone else catch the alternate reality DC comic covers?

haha. yeah. i could make out "red lantern/red arrow" and what looked like it could be the man of steel returns. i couldn't see the differences in the justice league comic though. the dc comics blog said they'd post all of the comics in the morning

its always the danger when a show/movie involves doubles/evil twins, to fall into the cover used plot point of switching them,

also, not quite sure how they made it back home, was Alt-Oliva experimented on aswell that she would have the gift to send them back? Or was it all Bell that was able to send them back?

it was all Bell........ bye bye Leonard Nimoy

I had a feeling that it was alt-Olivia that helped Bell up, but wasn't 100% sure. Then I thought that Walternate would eventually send alt-Olivia over, after Olivia, Peter, and Walter made it back. That Olivia was captured, imprisoned in the alt-universe, and alt-Olivia is already impersonating her was a bit of a surprise.

Does anyone know of a list of the differences seen so far? I know about the Lost clip that previously appeared, the WTC still exists, the Statue of Liberty is copper-colored, no one knows who Andrew Jackson is (died in his reckless youth perhaps?), and Nixon and MLK on money (my favorites aside from the comic book covers).

Great episode. I saw the Olivia switch from a mile away though. It should make for some interesting story lines next year. They better not mess up Olivia too much in the alterverse.

The glyphs on this episode read W E I S S.

I read on another board what was written on the board in Walternate's old lab was "A DEMON'S TWIST RUSTS." Apparently, this is an anagram for "Don't trust Sam Weiss."

Sam Weiss is bowling alley guy.

OMG poor Olivia :( Saw the switch coming a mile away, dont think they tried to hide it either.

Sucks we have to wait months for anything new now :( This is probs one of my favourite shows now :D (seeing as all my others favs have finished forever!)

I guess I'll be watching this from now on Thursdays. Seeing how Supernatural moved to Fridays. So in a way I guess thats a good thing.

That season finale was EPIC!!! Kinda wouldve liked to have known more about how Peter was exactly gonna destroy the universe and of course seen the switch as soon as it happened. Even my aunt who has never watched Fringe before said she could see it coming a mile away but it was still nice.

next season is going to be great with 'Fauxlivia'

anyway, how did Fauxlivia open the gate and how did she know where to go to get a typewriter and how the typewriter works?

great final... but, anyone else feel like it was a missed oppoitunity to bring back Mark Valley's character from the first season???

Bell opened the gate, the typewriter is Walternate's, and he most likely told her all about it when he asked her to do him a favor.

Fantastic season but very disappointing finale.

I was expecting Alternate to almost complete his plan which would have done crazier things than switch a character for a villain. Its like the same trick pulled with Charlie at the beginning of the second season. Instead it looks like they are gonna drag out Walternate's ultimate plan a little longer.

Oh well I await to see what he has become.

Speaking of which, did anyone else catch the significance of what Belly said to Walter in regards to Walter's memories? Walter asked Bell to take out specific memories to turn Walter away from what he was becoming.

You think maybe Walter was turning evil or psychotic at some point? I mean, when Walter's missing brain pieces were briefly reconnected to him, he did act a bit darker. It would explain why Walternate is a big bad.

Yes I did catch that.

Well that can still happen in a future episode. The alternate world ain't going anywhere.

I highly doubt that that's going to happen in the near future. Not only is Mark Valley busy with Human Target, him and Anna Torv just got divorced, so I doubt she'd want to work with him anytime soon.

What a great finale as far as the characters and acting are concerned.

Joshua Jackson: Fantastic job showing the emotions with his face.

John Noble: Awesome as usual playing both Walter and Walternate.

Broyles: Too little of him but he was great.

Olivia: The weakest link but she is good to look at.

As far as the story I thought it was pretty weak. The plot just seemed to meander and never really did anything. And the ending was so blah!

I was really expecting a lot more and the way it started out it looked like it was going to deliver but then somewhere in the middle the plot just fell apart for me.

I love this show and can't wait to see more.

Im calling it now next season Sam Wies will be the first one to recognise that its not our Olivia by spotting and recognizing the tattoo on her neck but she will kill him.

I don't even think the tattoo will give her away to Sam, hes going to know from the very moment they meet each other.
