Im actually nervous about Walter getting massive dynamic and all that power. that might be part of walternates plan. Altlivia was told to start working on walter. I fear, with walter having all that power he may start to lose himself like he feared and then become as sinister as walternate. That would make me sad.

I think his "dark side" is still in that piece of brain that was taken out of his head.

Aye. But you never know what could be planned. If they can make olivia think she's altlivia maybe they plan to do the same to Walter. They have peter finding the pieces of the machine now on their side. then altlivia will find a way to give Walter walternates memories then boom.

Just a random theory but you never know.

The last episode was great, I like the approach they are taking to this season alternating between realities every other week. The guy who played the villain as such was creepy as hell and Anna Torv continues to be superb in her duel roles.

Im with ya HR this past weeks ep was awesome! Its nice to see the Alt Fringe team solving cases too. You guys think they are gonna keep it pretty black n white as in our universe is the "good guys" and the alt is the "bad guys" I mean I know they've made it seem like it so far but really besides Walternate and Altlivia I havent seen any real evil actions from the Fringe team on the other side. I really hope we end up getting everyone in both universes teaming up to take down Walternate or something to that effect. I just cant wait to see how this seasons plays out cuz so far its been superb

I don't really think the altverse is bad per se. The altverse was damaged by Walters actions, and his actions are still affecting the altverse. You cant really be surprised by the their actions mainly because Walternate is trying to stop the anomalies from happening.

Yea but Walternate is trying to destroy our universe. He is evil because of Walters actions and possibly the absence of Bell in his life. My point is that I just want it to not be as cut and dry as us vs them ya know. It needs to be deeper than that, ppl need to defect n stuff like that. Like how awesome would it be if alt Charlie and the dude with the burns, Nick I think, ended up seeing how evil Walternate is and ended up being double agents for our side. Something along those lines would be great to see especially since our Charlie is dead

This season has been great. I also think that John Noble is an amazing actor. I just love everything he does on Fringe. He can bring out such emotion and passion with slight facial movements. Not to mention his voice, which is so powerful.

I would also hate it boiled down to "good" versus "evil" and Walternate being personified as "evil". I think the guy is only doing what he feels is the best for his reality. I really feel for the guy. He gets his son stolen and turned against him by the kidnapper. Then because of the kidnapper his entire world is falling apart.

In this case we have to look at "our" Walter as the "evil" one for everything he has done. It doesn't matter how he is now and how much he regrets doing what he did, he still did it.

I also like the alternate universe much more interesting. The characters are fresh, the stories are just as good. I really like the Fringe team and the way they each are. I hope "our" universe gets destroyed in the end with a merger of certain main characters. I hope the alt-Astrid stays though, she is really cool.

Where are the Observers in all of this?

Im sure well see them soon enough. Did anyone else notice the bum with the sign around his neck that said "Aruba War Vet" I laughed my ass off at that just thinking of what couldve possibly started a war with Aruba

. . . laughed my ass off . . . what couldve possibly started a war with Aruba

Socialism in Venezuela and an armed takeover.

Not necessarily a war 'with' . . . a war 'in'.

Ever hear of Viet Nam? Nothing funny about that.

Oh boo hoo! I was being sarcastic, ya know making a joke about the only thing that Aruba has been in the new for in the past decade, if you dont get it I dont care and Im not gonna explain it

Great Scott! Back to the Future's Doc Brown will be meeting Fringe's resident Doctor Frankenstein when Christopher Lloyd guest stars early next year as Walter's musical hero.

"We all know how much Walter loves music, right? Well this fellow was one of his icons," explains John Noble of Lloyd's role in the season's 10th episode. "He adored this man. So Walter gets to be a bit of a fanboy."

Lloyd, who is currently enjoying a resurgence thanks to the 25th anniversary of Future, begins filming next week in Vancouver and will appear in the show's 10th episode. And while there remains a Fringe-ian veil of secrecy surrounding his actual involvement in the hour's investigation, it's very clear that Nobel is excited to have Marty McFly's bestie coming aboard. "It's a beautiful role and such good casting," he enthuses. "When I read the script I thought 'I hope hey get someone great.' And Christopher Lloyd exceeds my expectations!"

They should have a scene in the alterverse with a kid on a hoverboard in the background lol

That would be funny but I don't think many people would get the joke, McFly. :yay:

Haha no ****! Who wouldnt get that!?!! Its be great if you saw a kid accidentally go over some water on one and fall off hahaha

Anyone else get the parallels between Peter "haunting" Olivia and John Scott doing the same?

What a great episode. I really love how this alt-verse feels like it's own show. The characters are interesting and it could probably stand on it's own. Very well written. And I got that parallel as well carrrnuttt.

Cool to see the Ashmore brothers together on screen.

Love the bit where she crossed back over and called her niece

I really really love the other universe. There is so much life and emotion in the world, the events, and the people.

This season has been absolutely amazing! I still think its odd that John Scott hasn't popped up in the alt-verse though especially considering they killed off Charlie and then brought him back in the alt. Also I still miss Agent Jessup and what happened to Kevin Corrigan's character that worked at the bowling alley?? Be nice to see him pop up in the alt. Also I wanna know where the hell The Observers are at, they can't just go into this whole alt-verse aspect of the show and comepletely forget about The Observers. Then again maybe they have served their purpose for the show, I mean we know they exist outside of time and space and are like Dr. Manhattan and perceive all time simultaneously but do we really need to know all that much about them? Or would it be a total midichlorian situation? Hmmmmm

Seeing as how the lead actress and the guy that played him are divorced in real life, don't hold your breath.

Also I still miss Agent Jessup

Was that the young female agent that was in a couple episodes last season? I remember someone saying she was supposed to return (last season), but she never did...

Gripping episode tonight. It looks like they're bringing things to a head next week.

Also, in regards to tonights episode, and the book written by "Seamus Wiles"...

...that name is an anagram for "Samuel Weiss."

According to the Fringe forums the producers have hinted that Sam Weiss may be one of the these "First People."
