The latest issue of French Magazine "L'Ecran Fantastique" has indicated that both Wasp and Ant-Man may actually be in "The Avengers".

Stephen Broussard co-producer discusses the meeting of superheroes in 2012 as follows: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and the Wasp in the Avengers movie.

What do you think? Could it be?
I'm wondering if anyone who read the leaked script could chime in.

General consensus would say it is a mistake, since they don't mention Hawkeye or Black Widow.....but hey....you never know! :)

Dammit France, don't give me false hope!:cmad::cmad::cmad:

Stephen Broussard. He's co-producer on Captain America.
I'm not sure how a guy intimately linked to this series of movies get Hawkeye and Black Wido confused with Wasp and Ant-Man.

If he's comic savvy enough to even know who Wasp And Pym are, he should be savvy enough to make that distinction. This is why I want to confirm whether or not they are in it with someone who's read the script.

Let's see:
1) Marvel went out of their way to bring everyone associated with the Avengers to SDCC last year. Where was Ant-Man and Wasp?
2) Kevin Feige confirmed they would not be in it numerous times.
3) Josh Whedon confirmed they would not be in it numerous times.
4) Nathan Fillion and Eva Longoria both have confirmed that they were never asked and they are not involved.
5) There is MORE than enough characters in this movie already.
6) This is one interview with a guy who is not even involved in the Avengers production. An interview that had to be translated into French and then retranslated (very poorly I might add) into English.

They are not in this movie. Why is it that there are so many around here who can't get over this fact?

Maybe the writer of the article got it wrong and just pulled facts from the comics, since they were the founding members of the Avengers (and Cap was retroactively made one).

A reference would at least be nice. Maybe they're researchers working under the auspices of Shield.

I dunno but for me I've never liked Ant-man or Wasp, more Wasp she always seems rather annoying than anything.
