Jason needs to be over-powered. They nerf him and it could literally ruin the game.

The divisive reaction to this game actually goes perfectly with the franchise's history. Every film was critically hated and panned but box office were decent - good and most of them became cult hits among fans.

I went to the Xbox store and the game is the top most paid , which would be the equulivent of a box office hit. It's not a critical success but many fans sure love it!

I haven't played the game myself, but I think that Jason should be nerfed in a small way. The shift grab. Jason absolutely should be OP, but that maneuver just seems so cheap whenever I see let's players use it.

Trust me when I say that the shift grab is good the way it is. Jason is bulky and clumsy. If they take his shift grab then you'll lose most of your ability to get people. Even the fastest Jason is slow as hell compared to everyone else.

^ Exactly. Jason is fine as is, they don't need to nerf him in any way or de-power him. That's likely not even a consideration amongst the team.

And speaking of Jason being slow, that's kind of why I'm hoping they work out the rights to implement reboot Jason. He was the fastest Jason we've seen thus far & I'd love if that was reflected in the game. Or even part 4 Jason as White was nearly as fast as Mears.

Remake Jason would be fantastic, especially if they included both sack mask and hockey mask versions. A map based on the remake would also be really cool with the run down cabins and tunnels.

Aargh! The last couple matches I had... disconnect... but disconnects when I actually do something other than hide...

Call Tommy... disconnect...

Successfully call the police... repair the car... disconnect...

I'll try again this weekend.

Most of the disconnects I've had were due to the host having a bad connection. I've turned down being able to host due to using a wireless connection.

Same here man this new patch has made a ton of difference. I was Jason a few times today, one game I killed all the counsellors so got a trophy for that plus killed Tommy so got a trophy for that as well all in one match. Had a blast on this game tonight with a few easy escapes. And once again since the patch it's even more fun that it was before.

Out of like 7 games today, I was Jason 2 or 3 times. There's definetly a much more balance in being able to play as both

I was thinking the same thing today while playing.

The match-making still needs some work as I had to reload it a few times due to being put in lobbies of my own but it's far batter than before.

They need to work on their servers in general. Has been working just fine for the last week but over the course of the last day or so they've been beyond crappy. Harder to get into a match & I've barely made it to the end of any of them.

I love this game but fact of the matter is this is not a problem that should still be occurring two weeks after release.

Just found another interesting but cheap way to survive Jason. Finished a game where a female counselor swam out in the lake at Higgins Camp onto some big rocks and Jason couldn't get her from the water or get onto the rocks.

She was the only survivor and was on there for most of the game. Jason couldn't do anything except throw knifes from land. Kinda reminded me of Tremors lol when Jason swam around the rocks real fast

So I heard that if people leave with plot important items like car keys or other things then they respawn on the beach somewhere. Anyone find anything like that?

I love playing as both. They both present a lot of different advantages and challenges. I'm on this game so much lately just hours on end. Tons of fun with friends.

I don't particularly care for how the evil dead teleport works. You get stuck on the smallest ********. I'm sure it will get fixed one way or another, but I personally find it tedious.

Yeah, that can be awkward. You have to maneuver really carefully. Also stopping where you want to, for nearly a week I didn't know you could stop at a specific point. Often I would over shoot on trying to catch someone.

Question for everyone; when you get to play as Jason, what's your average kill count? Do you usually get everyone in the session, or maybe all except one, or maybe even less?

Myself, I have an average of at least getting everyone except maybe one if they get lucky and escape somehow. Usually it's when one manages to slip away to the Cops while I'm dealing with the others.

Btw anyone know why TX85 got banned? He seemed like a decent sort.

Honestly, I'm a **** Jason. Some games I kill everyone but on average I'm lucky to get two or three.
