The facial graphics of the counsellors are hilarious.

To be honest, I sorta hope they never patch up the faces. It just makes the game a helluva lot more entertaining for me.

Another counselor took a swing at me and injured me during a match, so I killed him in return and wound up surviving the match. Felt good. #NoRagrets

I had a similar experience, four players in the car driving away, they go out of their way to run me over, crash, three out of four of them get killed by Jason, I respawn as Tommy, go back to the car they crashed, and drive off leaving the arse that ran me over behind to fend for himself. It was very satisfying to watch their death from spectator mode after my escape.

I actually like the sound of this as ****ed up as that is. On Steam, there's apparently a lot of folks quitting matches immediately because they want to be Jason which leads to a lot of 1V5 matches, is this an issue on consoles?

Considering there's just ZERO matchmaking on consoles(well Xbox anyway) not really. Everyone joins a private group of friends or what have u, so you'd don't have as many quitters. I'm sure once match making works properly it'll be the same.

If anything they should make more variations with the other counselors getting closeups, I totally think the funny looking animations are completely intentional.

19 myself. I'd be a LOT higher if I could finish a damn match.

On a side note, I got to thinking about how many ppl claim they prefer playing as a counselor so I decided to make a "Looking for Group" post on the Xbox One and I specified that I was looking for players who only or primarily wanted to use the counselors. I ended up being Jason 4 times out of the 5 or so matches we played due to the fact everyone besides me in the lobby wanted to use the counselors.

Part 8 Jason is pretty damn rad. Love his added strength for chopping down doors and walls.

They're currently working on an Xbox specific update because that platform is apparently having the most issues.

And I finally got Savini Jason. Imo he definitely plays better than the other zombie versions (save for part 8 & 9 as I haven't unlocked yet). Hell, I think his walking speed is equal to, if not greater than the running speed of parts 2 & 3. Plus you can shift like crazy with this dude.

As for people quitting matches because they want to be Jason, I haven't experienced that at all on Steam. Personally, I have quit a few matches that had me as Jason simply because I wanted to play as a counselor. I've enjoyed using the counselors more than I could've ever anticipated.

Well ur deff right in that the Part 3 Jason is pretty damn good. I had a hell of a game using him tonight. Went 8/8(Jarvis included) and the match was over by the 10 min mark. They could just not get away from me.

Why didn't ya just choose the Savini skin before the match started? You can pick any Jason you have unlocked or do you just keep it on random?

At the time I didn't know how to set it. I'm using a PS4 controller on Steam so I had to get used to doing everything. But now I spawn as Hell Jason pretty frequently.

Which counselor do you guys enjoy using the most? For me it's a toss-up between AJ, Jenny and Lachappa.

I still prefer playing as Jason but I definetly don't mind if I'm selected as a counselor. I love playing as both when my initial interest was just Jason

Played a round last night where this counselor (had to have been a really obnoxious, prototypical 12 year-old kid who plays Call of Duty or whatever) was getting chased by Jason and bartered with him to single out the various locations of all the counselors in return for making him the last living counselor. My friend and I were trying to fix the boat and steer clear of the kid and as the kid was running towards us to snitch on our location, my friend turns around and kills him with the shotgun he had in his inventory. I don't condone betraying other counselors but holy hell was it satisfying to see him rage quit after getting killed for ratting out the other counselors.

Serves him right. I hate **** like that. Ratting on locations is cool in private matches with friends but it's a mega-*****ey move when you're in quick play.

I had one guy last night get pissed because we were supposed to be banding together. Jason shows up, he stuns him, I try to shoot and he moves out the way and then we both get killed and the guy blames it on me. Like dude, we both were taking a chance being out in the open in the first place, can't be mad at me that our plan didn't work.

Some of these players are just idiots.

Though I will say the majority I've encountered have been cool as hell.

Ha, That's awesome! I sometimes let out a sigh or an ugh when I make a mistake or know I could have avoided death but usually I have fun dying as well. Don't mind accepting my death and spectating other deaths.

I don't game chat and so nobody hears me either way

Same here on dying, I don't mind as long as I'm having fun. And I don't have a headset hooked up either, but I can hear everybody else. Dude was absolutely irate.

Man if Jenny gets certain perks, that chick is damn near invisible. I had a dude just decide he was gonna hide from me the whole game and I never found him. I thought the game glitched because I hit EVERY section of the map with my sense and he never showed up. Not a single red blip or single sound wave. Iv also learned that grabbing her is a waste of time, anyone playing Jenny is just gonna get whacked with my weapon. She escapes way too easily and if they have pocket knives, u can spend 15 min chasing her.

I usually use Jenny. She's based off Chris Higgins, the final girl from part 3, so she's great at being a survivor;

Yea that b***h is annoying. Get the right perks with her and she borders OP. I don't take any chances with ppl using her. I find em and axe em to death ASAP, don't even bother grabbing

Is the game a sucess? I mean like is it selling well and are most critic/fan reviews positive? Gun Media have said more dlc and updates depend on sucess and well, there's much potential to keep the game going fresh and new for a long tine.

The reviews are so-so. Not great, not terrible. No idea about the sales.
