Hmm I feel like the sooner the better.

I prefer to see those than Cruella Returns, Aladdin Returns and the Lion King Returns.

Based from Maleficent 2 and Alice Through the Looking Glass, I doubt sequels would be improvements. So I prefer if they churn out these remakes as soon as they can or when I'm still somewhat young.

From the Renaissance period, Tarzan and Hunchback are the only two remaining films yet. Pre-Renaissance most of the popular ones, have been adapted.

Okay I forgot to mention Hercules but are they really going to wait til those 3 are released?

A live action film for Pocahontas and The Rescuers is highly unlikely as well.

Given how their previous films (Walt Disney Animation Studios) performed at the boX office, I'm not surprised.

I just wonder how long the gap between the 3rd and the 4th film is going to be?

They are likely aiming for 2 years, if they are being worked on this close together.

Frozen 1 and 2 along with Moana are my 3 favorite Disney movies in the last few decades (Frozen 1, Moana and Frozen 2 in that order).

Disney desperately needs some big performing movies after a dismal 2023 and sketchy looking upcoming line-up and Frozen 1 and 2 did over $2.8 Billion theatrically, not to mention absolutely gigantic merchandise sales so going back to the well is pretty much expected.

If they can keep the quality up and don't find a way to ruin it I'm more than happy to give a 3rd and even a 4th a chance.

If Frozens 3 and 4 are released so close to each and have a connected storyline, I'm guessing Disney is trying to take notes from Across The Spider-Verse and Beyond?

I'll just continue to sit here in my corner of solitude trying to manifest Hans' return.

I would definitely like to see more elements of The Snow Queen in this franchise. Bringing in the magic mirror (although Hans kind of symbolized that in the first movie per Jennifer Lee's words, so not sure they would have it be a physical thing) and an ancient ice deity that predates Elsa as well as more characters with elemental powers would be interesting routes to take.

As for Hans, yeah, still gunning for his return despite the improbability. He's gotten a lot of flack over the years (understandably so, he sort of kickstarted the tiresome Disney plot twist villain trope for a while), but there's some interesting foundation there with his character in regards to being the youngest of so many siblings in a kingdom these movies haven't canonically explored yet, that I feel could be delved into. I feel with the right execution and writing, you could flesh out his character in an attempt to rectify his divisive turn in the first Frozen, though not necessarily in a redemption arc. But lots of people in the fandom hate his guts and would probably throw fits if he was ever brought back, plus Santino Fontana doesn't really seem interested in reprising the role, so most likely not gonna happen. We'll see what happens though.

I prefer non sequels when it comes to their animated films.

But I guess like PiXar, releasing sequels to their successful animated films, would be the standard strategy moving forward. Zootopia 2, Froz3n, Fr4zen, Wreck It Ralph: Gam3 over, Moana Returns, Encanto Reloaded, BH6²: Big Hero 6 United, etc.

Frozen 3 could very well be the most surefire billion dollar hit that Disney has in their stable of upcoming movies besides Secret Wars. I can totally see them wanting to fast track it.
