I worked Thanksgiving 12-6, but my parents dropped by the apartment afterwards and brought me food.

I worked at a theater. Every single holiday we were open. Christmas Eve was the only that we didn't work a full day. Just the last round was chopped off.

There was a book fair in the lobby of my office building today, and I picked up Ben Brantley's big illustrated book of Broadway musicals for $25. Great deal, but now I have to keep this thing at my desk until the end of the day. I might as well have come to work dressed as Cher.
