G8: Still Just As Action-Packed!

Thanks Spidey. Ive been debating about having that conversation since I was 18, for almost 7 years. It been discussed many times in therapy and in my head. When it happened, there was a pit in my stomach, and my heart was racing, hoping that it wasnt the last time that I saw or spoke to him. In the end... words cant describe the feeling I had.

And when I say thank you, I mean it. The people that post and show pieces of their lives on this thread helped me out alot, even if you didnt realize it, and even when I didnt post, I was always keeping up with things here. I always knew that there was nothing wrong with being apart of the GLBT, but now I realized that public knowledge is power and its a beautiful thing.

That's awesome. And touching.

I said a long while ago that its a pretty great and beautiful thing that we can all learn from eachothers experiences both good and bad, give advice, and help when we can.

Yeah, its great what this place can be.

Sunday is the parade here in the city, and usually it's a good time but this time it's little more. I guess everyone will feel like that though, but I really excited. Also, since I have more free time, since graduation I think I'll post more often.

Hey gang, long time no talk. So... after the swell of emotion yesterday, I finally decided to tell my dad that I am a bisexual man. It was a long and emotional conversation with alot of questions but in the end... much success. I told him that I wasnt hiding this out of shame or fear but I felt that it was my life, and now its important to be open with the people you care about. He told me that nothing changes, he still loved me, and to be careful. I'm going to tell my mom eventually but I rather wait until I see her in person. I feel like I won the lotto!

That is great news! I'm so happy for you!

I can't see Bomer as Batman either. Or Superman for that matter.

Bomer isn't built big enough to be Superman. I'm sure he could really bulk up but I do have a harder time seeing him in that role as well.

So i guess we have our first Gay country Singer/Song

this is a pretty great (and honest) video and song. Very well done and not flamboyant like majority of gay artist out there. check it out, hope this guy makes it big!

id embed the video, but it's got a very very quick blink and you miss it butt shot... so i didn't want to get in trouble for that....

Wow, great song.

On the subject of C&W music, this is a song that I would love to hear a contemporary American country singer cover, particularly a heterosexual male. It's technically a British rock song, but it really is a country ballad.

Great song and that guy is really cute.

yeah, he's adorable. I made a nice comment on his facebook page and his mom already liked my post haha :)

So my out-tour 2013 hit a few stops. I talked to my grandmother and a few of my aunts. Nothing but support and I told a few close friends and they've been great. So I could be more happier right now.

I am so happy that everything is going so well for you widow. :yay:

I hope so too. It really means a lot to have the support of those you care about.

Remember, it's not a tour until it's got T-shirts.

I see something involving a wolf, a full moon and a guitar with wings on it. I need something cool like that to wear when I'm waxing my camaro in front of a local highschool.

But seriously, this is a big step (something I never did, I just came out to one person and relied on gossip to do the rest) so a big  to you.

Congrats Widow, glad all is going well!!!

In other news, I have VERY mixed feelings about this
http://www.buzzfeed.com/omgitsanf/things-millennial-gays-love-b83k

-on one hand its pretty accurate (which makes me sad)
-I myself fall into some of this ... a few too many (which makes me sad)
-and then i look at it all again and think about it.... and it just makes me sad haha.

I guess it's better than the last Generation of Bath Houses, Bette Midler, and Cher??

Half that list is things I find completely obnoxious....and half I fall into.

Like 5 of those things apply to me. In fairness I live right next to San Francisco.

san fransisco is sorta a lame one anyone... Gay's been liking San Fran since the beginning... haha. it's pretty much our Mecca

They almost had me at the frozen yogurt, I don't know what this "hundred calorie" thing they speak of is. When I get a frozen yogurt, the gummi bears sprinkled on it alone are at least 100 cal.

My bowl is like 80% toppings usually. I don't understand how I am still alive. :(
