G8: Still Just As Action-Packed!

It's a process. Don't ever feel pressured to coming out to anyone before you're ready to do so.

I came out to a few people in my life years ago and just decided to do it online too since I'm known as LuisTX85 all over the Internet,My username is always the same.

I feel kind of ashamed that I've come out to more people online than I know in real life, but I almost never see my old friends or many of my relatives. When I do see them, my love life (or lack thereof, whatever) never comes up, so I never feel the need to tell them "Well, I'm not looking for a girlfriend because I want the D." Except, you know, much more seriously than that.

Whoa.

Wait...

What the **** did I miss?!

I was gone two or three months.

Kevin, congrats, dude!

Wait, you're the same LuisTX85 from the Care Bear Countdown fan forums? Oh, it's war now, buddy! :cmad:

Everybody in my life kinda sorta knows... except my mother.

She's the only one that needs to know, but I've firmly decided I'm never going to tell her.

My family hates me for it. And they'll never accept Jason (they never accepted David either and we were together for 11 years). Jason's family are strict Catholics and they aren't cool either. So we are each other's everything in life...literally. :csad:

I'm relatively lucky on the family side, but then even in my family it's an unspoken issue. I don't bring it up. They don't really bring it up. Though my Aunt was glad recently when I found my last boyfriend and asked if he was treating me well.

I think white families are better with it overall than black families. Although I'm only half black my strongest opposition has come from my mother's side...and that pressures her view of me. I always envied David...his family was so accepting of all of it: that he was gay, dating a black guy (Italians can be touchy about the color issue), etc. I miss those Christmas dinners. :(

The black community can be quite self loathing and dysfunctional which makes it very difficult for African American youths to be true to themselves. And the Baptist church is the worst!!!

Well that sucks,Sorry to read that But I hope things change for the better with your family some day,People who I came out to accepted it including my wife..She's glad I'm at least honest&faithful(I haven't been with another man nor woman for 8 years)

I have to admit, as a fellow bisexual male, I have a lot of admiration for you that you are still true to yourself while having a wife and (as I recall, from an anecdote I think you told in another thread about getting a sport celebrity's autograph) a kid too.

That's never something I was always able to achieve, especially the kid part which to be honest I have always wanted. The only woman that I've come closest to marrying dumped me when I told her the truth.

I'm a faithful husband,It's not easy though and I'm graving fresh new..stuff lol

I'm guessing LS read it really fast and missed the "wife" part. It's not a word that we're accustomed to on this thread. :p

Crap, I'm sorry. I remember someone from the Wrestling Thread talking about getting CM Punk's autograph with their family, and Punk acting like an ass about it.

No, actually I read it as "I told my wife I'm gay, we're no longer together, and I haven't been with another man or woman since". :funny:

My bad. That's admirable.

You've been watching Lifetime movies again, haven't you?! What have we told you about that?!

Ah right, I remember it wrong then.

It was around an eight year span from my last boyfriend to spideyboy too.

Mothers always know. They might not want to bring it to light, but they know.
