I wasn't gonna name names, but yes, Tumblr.

I honestly don't see how cisgender can be sanctimonious. It's only as sanctimonious as the term heterosexual or straight and we use that all the time. But whatevs.

You know someone tweeted the other day about how midnighter should make an appearance on arrow or flash and now I can't get the idea out of my head. I love that idea!

I find it as sanctimonious as when people refer to Caitlyn Jenner as Bruce. There's just something about it that feels overtly negative, probly the same way the F-name started off as an insult.

Some conservative tard read Wikipedia for five minutes, found out what a chromosome is, and started spreading transphobia.

Never mind that virtually every psychologist and neurologist respects the transgender plight.

Referring to Caitlyn as Bruce is definitely off. There's only one reason someone would do that and it's not because they respect her

The post was shared over 10,000 times in two days and hundreds of readers suggested that Eiynah start a crowdfunding campaign to publish it as a book. She met her crowdfunding goal quickly, and “My Chacha Is Gay” has since been released in print.

:lmao: Adorable book, but it makes Uncle Faheem look like a military strongman.

That's awesome!
It may be a very small step, but it's still a step in the right direction.
I hope to see the day they could get something like this in Saudi Arabia.

So I have a question for y'all.

I've heard several conservatives (Ann Coulter for example) say that the United States Republican party actually has more pro-LGBT policies than the Democratic Party despite largely being opposed to the legalization of same-sex marriage. Do you guys think that this is legit or bogus.

No. Of course it's bogus. Their record on lgbtiq refugees is appaling and they seem to have stood in the way of every move to stop the spread of HIV since the dawn of the outbreak. Plus what they're doing to trans people is atrocious.

I was surfing PinkNews this evening and came across...

Germaine Greer On Trans Women: i could call myself a cocker spaniel

Germaine Greer has continued to defend her anti-trans comments, insisting she could “call herself a Cocker Spaniel” but wouldn’t be accepted as one.
The difference between sexes is the difference between SPECIES, is it?

Speaking to the Victoria Derbyshire Show recently, feminist author Germaine Greer claimed: “Just because you lop off your d**k and then wear a dress doesn’t make you a f***ing woman.
You and your oversimplification to the point of misrepresentation. Arguing with the figments of your presumably dementia-ridden imagination again?

Because nobody, be they trans or someone associated with a transgender person, claims that the entire experience could be accurately described as "chop off dick, wear dresses".

You, Ms. Greer, despite having engaged in countless debates in your tireless crusade for vaginas, need to re-familiarize yourself with a Day One fallacy known as a STRAW MAN.

“A man who gets his d**k chopped off is actually inflicting an extraordinary act of violence on himself.”
Wikipedia > Gender Dysphoria > Management:

Treatment for a person diagnosed with GID may include psychotherapy or to support the individual's preferred gender through hormone therapy, gender expression and role, or surgery. This may include psychological counseling, resulting in lifestyle changes, or physical changes, resulting from medical interventions such as hormonal treatment, genital surgery, electrolysis or laser hair removal, chest/breast surgery, or other reconstructive surgeries.
Our society has come a long way in understanding and treating gender dysphoria. Modern doctors almost unanimously accept transition as the best treatment.

Who is Germaine Greer, why should I care, and good god were her parents killed by a trans woman or something?

Could Poe and Finn hook up in a future Star Wars movie? The notion definitely crossed my mind when the two characters reunited before the final battle in TFA.

I didn't really read that in them tbh. Honestly I could see more going between Kylo and the general. I bet they have UST all day at work and then battle over who gets to top when the day is over and the office is empty

It was clear to me Finn was developing a crush on Rei. I didn't see anything with him and Poe other than a developing friendship.
I think people are reaching, as usual.

I think there is always and undercurrent of homoeroticism in cultures of war. Doesn't automatically equate to homosexuality though.

That'd get pretty violent!

...and sexy!

Yeah. I think people are dying to see lgbtiq people represented in blockbuster films so maybe they're stretching a little. And why not? For the first time, women and people of colour are given the spotlight. It would be super cool if lgbtiq people were too

Yea, Finn obviously had a crush on Rey. He even asks if she has a boyfriend at one point.

Well, R2D2 and C3PO.

Oh don't get me wrong I get the desire to see those 2 get it on. I just don't usually subscribe to the notion of seeing things that aren't there... At least that's what my therapist tells me I should say... but that's another story.

I had the weirdest night last night. My friend is getting married (yay) but apparently he and his fiancé have decided to put me and some other single friends on a table right at the back in marked seating.

It appears they are worried because we don't have marriage equality here yet that I might cause problems because of my sexuality.

Truthfully, I don't care that much about where I'm sitting but the reason seems very odd to me. Im terrified they might put us on a table with other singles and force us to mingle. As in, hetero only mingling.

Does anyone else feel very odd at weddings?

Weddings are super odd when you dont have a date. Im not sure how much you're reading into it or how litteral their reasons are.

Its not uncommon for singles to be seated together
