...whom I believe to be one of the best DC writers around, is moving to Wonder Woman.Now, this may be good news to some (*cough* Wonder Woman fans */cough*), it's not to me. I love Birds of Prey, and while I know that nothing can stay the same forever, I think it shall suffer in the meantime with her gone.That said...what does everyone else think of this development?

It's not a rumor. She's CONFIRMED as to be the new writer following issue 13, just like McKeever is CONFIRMED as taking over BoP.

I liked Dinah in BoP, but if she marries Ollie she's dead to me.

I read BoP mainly for Huntress. I've loved since Cry for Blood (and hated Batman).

I like Gail Simone. Her days on BOP with Benes were some of the best that book's ever seen.

I've actually dropped Wonder Woman. I have no interest in Amazons Attacks, and Jodi Picoult's "I don't know how to tie my shoes" interpretation of ol' Diana has turned me away. But for Gail Simone? I'll give the book another shot.

I ditched BoP when Mistress came around. What an ungodly waste of space. I hope that ho dies soon.

I'll be reading Simone's Wonder Woman run for a little while, at least. She seems like a perfect fit for Diana, so I want to see how it goes. That said, I'm still not a huge fan of Diana's current direction. The secret agent angle is boring, especially since she hasn't really done much... or any... secret agenting so far. She's just wandered around commenting on how very strange the ways of men are, despite being well acquainted with them for years and years. Silly.

It's more like she was too focused on trying to kill people so Bat's gave her the boot.

But that's neither here nor there. They're both cool. Simone on WW is good. I've been reading her BOP on and off for quite awhile. (It's good, but not so great to survive my yearly purge when money starts getting tight around Christmas.)

I've often thought that Bruce's callous attitute towards others was just him putting up emotional walls in case any of them ever end up getting killed like his parents did...

I can talk more trash about Supergirl than anyone else, but even I base it on reality. Supergirl is definitely not hiding behind Superman or his integrity. Supergirl is actually stressing out at the pressure that's on her to live up to Superman's integrity.

And Superman has been around for like 70 years, not 50.

Gail Simone is great and did an amazing work with BoP ; I'm not sure to follow without her. As for Wonderwoman, I will definitely read it. Well, I already am (and it isn't so good for now, the start was fun but now it is just "mee")but what I mean is I can't wait for it.
