It is still Superman's muscles that are doing the lifting.
He doesn't need to be as built though I think is the point.

And Spiderman's come from his exposure to a foreign source...Peter Parker actual physique has never been that large...am I wrong?
What the hell? First off, these two women aren't in the same film so the point your making is nonsensical. Second, even if they did cast less 'attractive' Amazons it would be relative to who the actress playing WW is.

They aren't in the same film, did I say they would be in the same film or is a lack of reading comprehension coming into play here?
I've always said she's attractive, but she isn't WW attractive. She's more of a 7 while Gadot is a 10. You can't have Amazons standing behind her clearly looking better.
I get that point as no other Superman has been as ripped as Henry has. The point I was trying to make is that perhaps they way they will portray her she doesn't need to get as big as some people think she should.
Which kinda goes with the fully armoured costume theory I had, she might not need to be big because we won't see much of what's underneath.
I am not saying she is not going to get toned. It's just that anyone expecting her to look like She Hulk will be in for a disappointment.

You're right, I missed read your post, you assumed if Jaimie Alexander were cast as WW the other Amazons would stand out more. That's even more nonsensical.
That actually wasn't the point. It has nothing to do with other Amazons, didn't think you'd take it that literal. Honestly.
The point was that WW is described as being the most beautiful, and while Alexander is good looking herself, she is simply not on that level.
It's a foregone conclusion now that she's not going to have the frame a lot of people want. No-one wants She-Hulk, they want a girl who looks like she won't break in two. That may change, that may not to any great degree, it may all be pre-planned that her role is so minor it doesn't require massive body change, for all we know they might CG her body in shots to look better. Here's the thing, toning is about reducing fat and becoming lean, she needs to gain weight, and a lot of it.
Only they know what they want with this WW. If they want her toned up or bulked up...they believe they can achieve the WW look that they are going for before her time in front of the camera.
I don't think the physique is going to matter much if she's not half-naked.
What if the rest of the Amazons are rather on the plain or butch side? They are warriors, after all.
I don't think the physique is going to matter much if she's not half-naked.
But it has nothing to do with the other Amazons and more to do with how WW looks. I'm 6'0, if I go to Cambodia I'd look pretty damn tall, but it doesn't make me Yao Ming, I'm just tall compared to the people I stand by.
There's taste and everything, but this is more about how the world views beauty(standards) and how WW is portrayed in the comics.
I liken Alexander to that best friend in those movies where the guy wants to hook up with the school beauty, the most popular girl, but at the end of the movie realizes he wants to be with the best friend instead, the one that's in all the schools plays and dresses like she's not in touch with what's "in". Jaimie Alexander is that girl.
*Don't start talking about how there wont be any schools in the movie.
