Well i just had a thought. Maybe the only reason Gambit's conciousness is sticking around in Rogue's head is because she refuses to let him go...

Ult Gambit's death wasn't quite as black & white as Beast's death (or regular Colossus and the many Magneto deaths may I add). So yeah, there's a door left open there...

Anyway, in a weird way, Gambit at the moment is more alive in the Ultimate universe than he was say between the Austen fill-in and Cry Wolf which was what 3 years/40 issues? During that time period he had no cameo or even a mention. At least here through Rogue we'll be getting many Gambit references in just about every panel she's in.

Yup, Rogue kissed Gambit before he died and now has his powers, personality and memories in her system. She has red on black eyes and speaks in a cajun accent.

It's a composite image of all the Horsemen together. I went through that on teh ohter thread. Mystique is involved in someway so I was saying it could be Misty instead of Remy but I don't think anyone agreed with me. We'll just have to buy the comics and see.

That was in X-men The End and it caused quite a stir. I blame Claremont for some sloppiness, in his explanation for how Gambit was produced as Sinister's clone, there are some timeline improbabilities. Many of us discount The End as being out of normal continuity and should be seen as an alternate timeline. Pick up The End in TPB if you wish to see for yourself, it was discussed in Vol. 2. The End came in three pieces, the third being solicited as we speak.

i've missed out of the past few weeks worth of comics but is this true what i'm seeing? gambit is one of the new horsemen of apocalypse? that's pretty badass...
