So I came across this little pasage in wikipedia

Gambit's relationship with Rogue has had difficulty recently with Mystique posing as the student 'Foxx' and attempting to seduce him. After M Day, Gambit felt increasingly ignored by his teammates, and after Mystique's return and admittance into the X-Men, has grown more and more disenchanted with the team. So when an opportunity presented itself, Gambit went to see someone who may be able to appreciate him: Apocalypse.

And i had the weirdest mental image.

Apocalypse and Gambit, sitting in a romantic restaurant.

Remy: I just feel nobody cares about my needs anymore.
Poccy: There, there. I understand. More wine?
Remy: I give and I give and I give...
Poccy: It's alright. Maybe she's just not that into you. Maybe if you changed your look. White hair, black skin, does wonders with the ladies.
Remy: I just need to feel wanted, appreciated. Hold me...
