DAMN. That was the best trailer this show has had in years. Maybe ever. So hyped.

I love Jon Snow's new wildling costume.

They couldn't have picked better song for a trailer than Light of the Seven.

Yeh that particular song just perfectly sets the stage. You straight away go back in your mind to what happen in the finale of season 6 and you go "Oh here we go"... It's an amazing trailer.

I was the same after the first trailer. Got what you wanted now right? ;)

This looks so freakin' good. I can't wait. Love that last shot of Jon taking a guy out like a boss.

Unfortunately, I also saw an article today that made it sound like Urine Greyjoy is going to be the big bad of this season. I hope they're just bluffing with that. I want to see him killed off as soon as possible so we can focus on the more interesting stuff. I don't give a crap about him and I doubt anyone else does either other than some hardcore book fans.

If it was the book version of Euron it would be something to get excited about, but as it stands you've nothing to worry over. He's a henchman at best in the show used to fill Ramsay's role as the local psychopath.

Hmmm. I didnt expect Jaime to be at the Battle of Casterly Rock. There is no way he gets away from Dany and he re dragon. Which means he either dies or Dany captures him. That would give Dany added leverage against Cersei.

That might be at Highgarden.
After Dany has killed the Tarlys

There is a battle at Casterly Rock and Highgarden this season?

Jamie defeats the Tyrells and at the same time Dany kills Randyll Tarly during battle. The Tyrell scene was described as sad, whereas the Tarly scene was described as disturbing, with Tyrion thinking Dany has gone mad.

:whatever:

In the books, Dany starts showing definite signs of mental instability while she is in Mereen. In the show we have seen her bloodthirsty vindictiveness more than once, and Tyrion called her out on it last season.

IDK if the show or even the books will have her go completely mad, but it is possible. Her father was insane, her brother was a violent petulant abusive man that would have probably become another Mad King if he had gotten the throne or any real power. Now that Dany has three massively powerful dragons and an army and the Iron Throne is within her grasp...we might see her step over the line.

Just food for thought.

In the context of the scene, (which I admittedly thought was weird considering D&D wrote it), Tyrion didn't sound like he was being unreasonable at all.

she has visions and **** in the books the entire time... she is 'mad' in her own way, but i feel she keeps it together.

There is the history of mental illness that's strong within her immediate family. Obviously you have Aerys who seems to have likely been suffering from schizophrenia towards the end of his life, Viserys who was bi polar (made worse from the years of hardship he endured) and even Rhaegar is described as incredibly melancholic his entire life that could point to having some form of depression.

High stress can make mental illnesses get worse. Like throwing jet fuel on a fire. Aerys madness seemed to get worse as things deteriorated and his stress increased. Viserys stress and living conditions definitely could have made his mental condition deteriorate. And now Dany is fighting a war in earnest and discovering that the White Walkers are coming. And there is what happens at the end of season 7. As things progress she could end up deteriorating fast in season 8.

Oh, I'm not arguing it. I'd actually find that an interesting direction for a character that has long gone stale for me.

I just don't think they'll go through with it and the teasing at this point is irritating.

It is just that I thought that last season

Yeah the environment is a key thing. Viserys was apparently a very good big brother when he was a child/Teen and it was only after having hit rock bottom and having to sell his mother's crown for food that he finally started to become as messed up as he was.

Not long ago I was saying I hoped to see Jon standing in the snow sword drawn facing down an army of wights. And D&D delievered exactly that. I love this show.:D

Humorous side note: if I was Bran and warging those ravens I would totally make them all **** all over the Night's King. See how badass he looks standing there with his death stare when a constable of ravens ****s all over him. :hehe:

I read up on the s7 spoilers and they have made me depressed.

At this point I can't imagine how they couldn't be true. It is the content that depresses me.
