Arya looks like she was stabbed worse than Robb's wife.

Yeah someone went way overboard with it. Idk if the script called for it, but the director or D&D should have stepped up and pulled that **** back some.

I don't know about these 2, but I was watching Game of Thrones... where Arya was stabbed twice... and Talisa, while pregnant, was stabbed 5 times.

She was slashed across the abdomen and then got stabbed twice. The second time, she stuck it in deep and TWISTED it in.

Yes Vile, I watched the show.

5 stabs is worse than 2.

Arya stabbed... once in her side... once in her gut.

Talisa stabbed.... five times... all around her stomach.

The number of stabs isn't even the real issue with that scene. I always took issue with where Arya was stabbed. A person can survive a lot of stab wounds. The important thing is what the knife hits when it enters the body. In the case of Arya her intestines would have been cut open in multiple places. If the blood loss didn't kill her, the sepsis caused by the fecal matter from her intestines surely would have. Not to mention the piss and **** that would have been in the water she fell into. I'm sure D&D or the director or writers justified it by saying "Its just tv, and it will make the audience think she might die!" but if they needed the character on her feet in the very next episode they should have given her a less over the top injury. The Waif slicing her across the back or chest would have worked.

As for Talisa, she did have one "advantage" that Arya didn't have. Talisa's womb and unborn child would have probably protected Talisa's intestines from the knife. The Frey bastard was stabbing her right where the fetus and her womb would be.

Well, when you two become doctors... I'll believe you. Until then... we will take my word for it... because well... I am a doctor... specifically a surgeon.

:funny: Not fetus armour, but the womb and fetus displaces the intestines and stomach as the fetus grows. And the fetus and womb would have been where the knife was hitting her. So the knife would have been hitting it rather than her intestines.

How big do you think this baby was? She was carrying an orange, not a watermelon. barely had a baby bump lol

There are only three materials that can kill a White Walker: Dragonsteel, Dragonglass, and Fetuses.

Regardless, Arya should not have been able to run after two stab wounds to the stomach after eating some soup and taking a nap. Surviving those wounds in the first place was a massive stretch and that just made it worse.

Unfortunately London has none of those three which is why White Walkers are strolling around the city without a care in the world :cwink:

Depends on how far along she was. Not all women get huge, but if we assume shes average, considering her belly, she could be 20 - 28 weeks along so the fetus would have been between 9 - 16 inches long and weigh 1 - 3 pounds.

Ehh, in some cases, people can get stabbed in the gut and still run if their lives depend on it. She'd go into shock... start bleeding profusely... but I don't see why she wouldn't be able to run for a short time. Especially if it missed vital organs... which I suppose we are led to assume.

Marvolo :lmao: just quit... Fetus Armor is only DLC in Skyrim.

If the show had just used Jeyne Westerling, none of this would have happened, and we'd all be better people for it.

This fetus armor discussion is Hype Tivo worthy.

They look sooo good. Wish I'd seen them.

we aim to please here in the lands of Reekerfell

Arya was cured of blindness and Jon Snow came back from the dead after being stabbed thirty times. I'm sure they have some hokey pokey magic nonsense to explain why Arya isn't dead.
