Wow. A few minutes ago I entered the [BLACKOUT]forums of Wiki of Ice and Fire[/BLACKOUT] for some research about the Night King(book) and I was incredibly surprised of the hatred regarding Jon and Daenerys' reunion.

Practically everyone posting in there described it as "rubish, Jon wouldn't say that to her, Daenerys would never adress at Jon like she did, this is utterly fanfiction" and so on.

Jeez.... just calm down a bit. Of course their reunion was strange for some people. I mean, I've been waiting for this reunion since I read all the books in 2013, and a lot of people are waiting for this probably since 2000 or before.

While awaiting for this meetig one always imagine how it would be. So every possible dialogue scenario has been explored. Therefore it's pretty obvious it wouldn't exceed the expectations created. For example I wanted Jon to tell Dany EVERYTHING. Like how he was murdered and about the direwolves (to parallel the dragons) and yadda yadda.

I personally loved it. I think it played really well, it was greatly written (despite much of the hatred D&D receive, i admit I criticized them my fare share) and it was faithful to both characters.

I thought the dialog in all the scenes was top notch. this is just the book purists who always whine when the show deviates; bellyaching because we have gone beyond the books. No matter what happens or is said they're gonna whine.

Probably discussing how to please Cersei over a nice manly soccer game lol.

I went through quite a few years of hardly watching shows, say between Smallville till Lost and then still didn't really get hooked until a few years ago when I have been catching up on everything. I normally only binge watch shows that are finished. On the others I'm catching up on them all slowly but not as in as much of a rush as I can't see it all anyway (GoT is the most obvious exception).

Yea I go crazy on Netflix shows like Daredevil and Luke Cage.

Yeah, I love having the whole thing available straightaway. Can't wait for Defenders.

Don't forget The Wire.
For me it's the best series of the 21st century with Breaking Bad coming very close.

I cant wait for The Punisher. I can miss every other show or movie as long as I get to see it lol...I've been waiting for a good Punisher for years.

Yes it's one of the best modern shows out there. It doesn't seem to be as well known as some of the other ones discussed for some reason.

I wanna know how a culture like that of the Ironborn survives, not to mention actually is a credible threat to other Houses. I get that they are Vikings, but how can like most of the men be raiders? Wouldn't the majority need to do logistical work such as agriculture or hunting and then part-time raiders?

The islands have terrible ground for growing food, so most of it is probably brought into port via trade or paying the iron price.

which is kinda crazy. "the iron price". Ain't nobody got time putting up with that

Arya is a bonafied bada$$ now, that scene of her sparring Brienne was so cool. man its gonna be crazy to see her fighting on the battlefields. They way shes been developing through the seasons I'd say they have to show her fighting in the war.

the 'arya no one' music playing in that scene was really great.

The Ironborn do pretty well during winter, because they have the sea to provide food instead of trying to harvest crops. Fishing's good out West, Martha!

DUDEE I lost my ***** when Brienne asked her who taught her and she said "No One." Gawd I love that character. I'm a huge Walking Dead fan and I really look at Arya as the Dary Dixon of this show.

Speaking of the music, was that a new theme that played when Jon was showing Dany the Dragon glass? It didn't sound familiar to me, but it sounded like one of those designed to hear a "big version" of later on, lol.

Yea thats the first I have heard it... it must be Jon and Danys boom boom music... they don't have Marvin Gaye in Westeros... Salador came close, but he's busy fishing or something

Dammit you're probably right. Here I was thinking it was some kind of mythic dragon glass theme that would play triumphantly when they finally start scoring actual victories against the White Walkers with their dragon glass-armed forces, but nope, it's definitely a Jon/Dany love theme, lol.
