What was the blonde princess' handmaids doing to her hands? It seemed weird because it was after Lady Stark grabbed the dagger in the previous scene.

She's on her way to warn Ned and the kids of the Lannister's treachery. A commoner in that world cannot afford Valerian Steel, only the richest can have that stuff. Think of it as Damascus Steel in this world. In fact, valerian steel is so rear that you can easily figure out who owns it, kinda like who owns the Ferrari on your block.
She also wants to go to the Vale to see her sister, Lisa Arryn, since Jon Arryn (Lisa's Husband, Kat's brother in law, Ned's Brother in law and old commander when he and Robert where knights) was the former Hand Of The King who was murdered.
BTW, I'm loving how the Direwolves are growing. I'm glad they on purpose didnt show the mother very well so you didnt get the scale of the thing. People are gonna be freaking out (mostly next season) when wolves the size of horses are charging into battle next to their Stark, tearing through horse, man and armored knight like f-ing paper. Direwolf battles are some of my favorite scenes.
Seriously, I get that you read the books and you're happy it's a TV show but shut the **** up about future events. You spoil way too much and it bothers me.

Are Direwolves endangered/scarce? I got that impression when they found the pups.
Huh?!They are thought to be extinct in Westeros, just like dragons. But from fossils we know that they were the largest canine species to walk this planet ... and they are/were American too.
Huh?!
I'm liking that everyone thinks the direwolves are cool already. The "coolest" one has only made a brief apperance so far.
I suggest we replace the word *****ebag with 'Joffrey'
I so wanted the butcher's boy to come back as a white walker and chew on him a little.
Just throwing this out there

digging the show so far, i like starks big-ass sword. always wanted to see someone use a big bastard sword, this is not that, but still big.
Signed!I suggest we replace the word *****ebag with 'Joffrey'
What a great episode.
Signed!
I loved it when Tyrion slapped Joffery around. Joffery ranks up there with one of the most vile and stroke inducing character ever written. I can't wait to see all the wonderfully painful things karma has in store for him in the future.
The scene where Ned had to kill Lady was very touching.
I wish they wouldn't focus so much on the dragon eggs so soon. They need to build on that story line more and then have the payoff.
I love the intro, it is darn near perfect for this show.
Maybe if he had just released her into the forest instead of killing herThe scene where Ned had to kill Lady was very touching.
I spoiled myself earlier and read a wiki on the characters. Personally, I don't care about spoilers. It helps me understand the story better, not get attached to people who die, and anticipate those who will. What happens with Daenerys and how her character changes sounds really good and enough of a reason to keep me watching.[blackout]I wish they wouldn't focus so much on the dragon eggs so soon.
