Epic Would Love To Put the Gears of War Franchise On PS3

Now that i have your attention, read this:

Speaking to industrygamers, Epic President Mike Capps was asked if would like the Gears franchise to appear on Sony's console. His reply? "Do we wish we could take all those Killzone [players] and Resistance fans on PS3, and get them to say 'Gears is awesome'? Yeah, sure I'd love to ship the Gears trilogy on PlayStation. That would be fun. I want to be there; I want to be everywhere,"

So will the Gears of War franchise ever grace the PS3? Capps wouldn't say, in case you thought it was because of Microsoft owning/co-owning the IP, think again. "We definitely own Gears of War. This is our franchise, our IP," so the possibility is still there. Before Xbox 360 fans freak out he was also quick to add that "Time and time again, when it came down to figure out what we do next with Gears, we sat down with Microsoft and they've given us really good, compelling reasons to work with them again."

I don´t want to beat a dead horse, but Microsoft is on the verge of losing everything they had this gen, with the exception of Halo, Forza and Fable, which are their own Ips.
It happend to Mass Effect, it will happen to Gears of War, is a matter of time (and, after that, it will happen to Alan Wake)
It´s really sad if you ask me.
Basically what Mike Capps said was, all Sony has to do is ask and Gears of War will be there.

My call, someone from Epic will be on Sony´s stage at E3 (like Newell last year), maybe even announcing the Gears of War trilogy (i don´t really believe that, as MS will not want to for Sony to be announcing Gears before Gears 3, but Sony might do everything in their power for that to happen, to kick MS in the teeth)

Guys, guys, you are missing the point. This is just more evidence that Microsoft will fail and cease to exist in the next year. All 360's will become completely obsolete. EVERY 360 franchise will go to the PS3 thus boosting the PS3 to levels never seen before in the industry. Everyone who owns a 360 will throw em out and switch to a PS3 because Microsoft is run by a bunch of guys who dont know any better. Microsoft will close their gaming division and just go back to making Windows 8, 9, 10 etc.

But honestly I see you posting about the demise of XBox 360/Microsoft and it always seems to be based on something ridiculous.

I mean it is kinda a "duh" statement, they say theyre happy with Microsoft but they would mind bringing Gears to PS3. It expands their audience and makes them more money which is what a company is all about. The article didnt say it was in serious consideration of doing it or even that theyre in the process of doing it. It's maybe wishful thinking.

Its fine if you dont like what Microsoft is doing with the system, but to predict Microsoft losing all the time when it's winning like Charlie Sheen is silly

Cliff Bleszinki has been fairly outspoken regarding the PlayStation 3; from declaring he dislikes the PS3 controller to now giving a light hearted jab aimed at the Move.

I wanna replay the story again before I jump into Gears 3 and I'd like to try and get some of the Horde achievements.
