Geeky Stuff You Just Can't Get Into

Good score

eh, depends on how you look at it, it was a bit of a joke questionaire imo, as in, it mainly listed a bunch of inane, pointless, time wasting activities. It was taking the piss out of geeks.

Heh, this thread is proof that many of you just come here to complain about your relationships

A few other things I forgot to mention I'm not into:

World Of Warcraft
Not much into Harry Potter
collecting sports action figures

I got....

4% Geekyness....

....

That test was bias!!

:funny:

I did think a lot of the questions were more 'nerd' than 'geek'... But still... 4%? :p

I'm not sure if this is a geek thing or not, but I have no interest in those games on Facebook like Farmville, Cityville, Mafia and whatever else is there. I don't understand the appeal of it at all.

I've never played them before, but I have read people on threads on forums talking about farmville, which sounds like a tamagochi game, where you have to take care of all the animals and whatnot.

They are just forms of computer games, you get all types for all types. I can see how people would get into them, and I imagine a lot of folk play them sneakily during work times, if they work on computers.

They apply to the geeky stuff

Yeah, that's what I think too. Although most of the people I know who plays those games have snobby attitudes towards most geek-related things.

People, the weirdest creatures on Earth
  • I can't get into Batman Arkham Asylum, that game is fairly decent, but it's massively overrated, and the fun in it tones down every time I replay it. I had more fun with Mario Party than Arkham Asylum
  • Grant Morrison's Batman: Sure he wrote some decent comics for the character, his run is overrated, and Batman R.I.P & Batman 700 are terrible

Never really got into comic books when I was younger, just the superhero action figures.

Guess I'll go delete my hype account now.

I was sure my love for all things Gundam would of given me a good boost in percentage. :csad:

This is how I am mainly. I love comic book heroes, but don't reed comic books much. My brother was the exact opposite. I collected the figures, he collected the comics. Mutually beneficial partnership. :D

Sadly me either.

Though that was less lack of interest and more lack of opportunity. I've spent my entire childhood in a town with no comic book store, with the closest one being a really small one 20 miles away.

I started picking up random comics when I went to college in said town. Used to pop by the little place most days. But they didn't have a great selection, and they never had many Superman related comics so I mostly bought Spiderman, X-Men and Green Lantern.

It's only in the last couple of years since finishing university that i've been able to start 'collecting' Superman comics, and I am so enjoying it :)

LOL, no shame there
I was a casual reader as a child

My thought: Comics RULE

I hate Anime. I really do. The animation and look just peeves me off beyond belief.
Animation is fine when things are serious
Why is it painful to watch?

Cos-playing, Pokemon or anything similar, collecting memorabilia (unless it's posters).

I never said it's painful to watch, it just gets on my nerves how ridiculous it gets. It can be okay when it's serious.

Maybe people have just been showing me the wrong Anime's.

i really wanted to get into Dr. Who.. but... it honestly does nothing for me....

95% of anime i can't get into either.

sorry. it's something about the way it's filmed, and the humor.. just comes off really cheesy to me. Sort of like Syfy's shows...
Which ones have you watched? Like I've said already. Start at season five. It's sort of a reboot. I can understand that being said about the first four seasons, but season five, hell no.
