They probably had to sign some sort of exit agreement with Lucasfilm. Or who knows, maybe contract legalities allowed this outcome to happen.

Oh, I don't mean the actual Lucasfilm contact. I'd like to read some of the outlandish **** required and or requested by the guild. I know they ask for some ridiculous crap.

Considering how film studios are, the ridiculous stuff is probably required from the guilds.
