We have no idea who is using the starbird as their symbol nowadays. Any reason to believe that Stormtroopers can only be Imperial troops?

I've been staying away from these boards due in part to all the hubbub on the Spider-Man boards re: MCU and partly to avoid spoilers.

I read that JJ and Kasdan are not using Lucas' treatments for the ST. That's disappointing. Lucas may not have been the best writer, but he had great ideas.

Yes, I'm still going to see it and hope it will be good (I am a fan of JJ & Kasdan). My only hope is that these films will serve as a natural conclusion for the story started in the first six films and not just tacked on adventures that happen after ROTJ. I was also hoping that some of the stuff that got into the Yoda arc in the Clone Wars makes it into the ST and maybe the whole Balance of the Force will be completed at the end of Episode IX.
