Wasn't Devin Faraci anti-Star Wars? Why is he suddenly praising anything Star Wars-related nowadays?

He says he's heard great things about TFA and Lucasfilm's long-term storytelling that's a game changer.

But I was really surprised to be part of the live feed's trailer breakdown.

Writers and everything else. Yes. It costs money to do those things and they would rather have them in their new canon and focus around the ST. Which makes sense. They have hired amazing writers to do the Journey to The Force Awakens series.

I was never really into the EU books, so perhaps the new series will be a great time to start, but I am of course reading some of the new comics.

The Darth Vader series is pretty good so far.

Yeah, it makes no sense to spend their money on stuff that literally doesn't matter. They can spend that movie on relevant things, like the new comics, books and Rebels.

I've been reading Darth Vader and it's pretty good.

I did edit my post as initially I wasn't sure if the comics would be in the same category. But, oh well.

Yeah, I haven't been to hot in the new novels yet, though I have good feelings on the Ventress novel and Aftermath.

Mark Hamill just said that he had re-recorded those lines in the teaser last week at Bad Robot.

I think he will maybe use a mix. Mark is amazing with his voice, so I'm sure he can sound more Luke like.

Yeah it was some kind of mix, except the last part he said was him. The last line. "You have that power too."

That's silly. You're better off spending money on good stories rather than what is and isn't canon. All Star Superman, for example, "doesn't matter" but I'd recommend that over any canonical Superman comic out there.

With hat said, most of the news stuff has been pretty good. All the comics have been great as was A New Dawn. The Luke novel and Tarkin, however, were disappointments.
