Gerard Butler Returning for 'London Has Fallen'

I hope Roland Emmerich and Channing Tatum release 10 Downing Street Down three months later.

I hope we get a scene where the Eurotrash bad guy slowly sings "London Bridge is falling down" while watching it blow up and eating a carrot.

Loved the first one. It was a good surprise.

Hopefully the second one is badass as the first.

Is it sad this is the 2015 sequel I'm looking forward to most?

Jesus I didn't think they were actually making a sequel to this.

It's Nu Image/Millennium Films/Millennium Entertainment. They make sequel to anything, direct to dvd action or action in theaters.

I love me some Nu Image....even though script wise their movies are never that good.

I want Scott Adkins in this movie. Bad guy. Eastern European accent. Kick Butler right in the face. Yes.

Next sequel The Forbidden City Has Fallen.

I don't know how, but they need to find a way to get Channing's character from White House Down in this.

Will they be burning London to the ground like the League of Shadows?

Lots of movies and TV shows shoot stuff in Eastern Europe because its cheaper but usually when a London is being doubled by a Eastern European city it is for a period movie.

Liked the first one a lot but I have really REALLY low expectations for this

This new guy has done Banshee episodes! He's already more qualified than the Charlie Contryman guy.

New Details On "London Has Fallen"

By Garth Franklin Wednesday November 5th 2014 02:02AM
Millennium Films and Focus Features have posted a press release announcing the start of principal photography on "London Has Fallen," the sequel to 2013's action thriller hit "Olympus Has Fallen".
Set to return are Gerard Butler as Secret Service agent Mike Banning, Aaron Eckhart as the President of the United States, Morgan Freeman, as Vice President Trumbull, Angela Bassett as Secret Service Director Lynne Jacobs, Melissa Leo as Defense Secretary Ruth McMillan, Robert Forster as General Edward Clegg, Sean O'Bryan as NSA Deputy Director Ray Monroe, and Radha Mitchell as Leah Banning.
Joining them for this outing are the likes of Jackie Earle Haley ("Watchmen"), Alon Aboutboul ("The Dark Knight Rises"), Charlotte Riley ("In the Heart of the Sea"), and Waleed Zuaiter ("Omar"). Babak Najafi ("Snabba Cash II") directs from a screenplay by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt, Christian Gudegast and Chad St. John.
There's also a new official synopsis out which you can see below:
"The story begins in London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances. His funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the western world.
However, what starts out as the most protected event on Earth turns into a deadly plot to kill the world's most powerful leaders, devastate every known landmark in the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future.
Only three people have any hope of stopping it: the President of the United States, his formidable Secret Service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one."
Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, John Thompson, Les Weldon, and Mark Gill are producing and the film is slated for an October 2nd 2015 release.
