Cage is confirmed as Johnny Blaze/GR again. Eva Mendes will not return.

There any voice about a come back by Peter Fonda as Mephisto (it will be cool).

Crank's directors will direct it. The screenplay is written by David S. Goyer. I don't know if they rewrite it.

I wouldn't mind Fonda coming back...maybe if Mephisto is on earth...but could we also get a demonic looking Mephisto?

It was much better than their random meeting on the street in the theatrical version, you could see why Mephisto would be attracted to the bar because so much evil had been performed there and it would of stunk of brimstone as well.

Guys, I'm reading the script. It's good but not great.

The main characters are Johnny Balze, Nadia and his son Danny.

An ancient vatican order of monk and him...Mephisto (with a different name: Roarke).

The movie take place in Italy and France.

I cant wait for the sequel. I really liked the first one and I think when people put it on the same level as Batman and Robin thats a bit ridiculous.

Yes I know it strays from the comics but I think Nicholas Cage makes it work plus he said he wanted Johnny Blaze to drink and all that in the sequel.

So yeah I think everyone should stop hatin and give the sequel a chance.

I've finish to read the script five minutes ago.

mmmhhh...

It's not bad. But in some parts it's predictable. Especially for the role of the young boy (no spoiler from me). Great character is Moreau, the monk.

The script is dated May 2010. By Scott Glimpse and Seth Hoffman. Story by David Goyer.
