I confess, I haven't seen the first one.

But how is that toupée going to look on Cage's head today?

I must be evil because I liked the original Ghost Rider AND Nicholas Cage.

Granted Ive read barely any Ghost Rider

I liked it too. I guess its just because we've never read the comics :oldrazz:

I think the first could have been a lot better, I didn't like Cage as Johnny but I thought Sam Elliot made a great Carter Slade. I'll try and reserve judgment until I see it.

The first one would have been alot better if the villain wasn't so pathetically bad.

Such. Bad. Acting. Honestly, Blackheart was a joke.

Only slightly above Catwoman because it had good Ghost Rider effects.

Yeah some of the Ghost Rider parts were awesome, but also Ghost Rider was very stiff and blocky when he did just about any action. I would assume that'll be improved big time in the sequel. They need a sweet bad ass villain to go head to head with GR.

I think any big Demon will do. I said it before, but for being a mediocre Movie, Violator was freaking sweet in Spawn.

Do you think Vengeance will be the villain since its called spirit of vengeance?

Johnny Blaze is in voluntary exile. He believes that not having contact with people the spirit of vengeance not emerge. Is contacted by a monk, Moreau, leader of the sacred monastic order of Michael, an angel warrior. The Blaze mission is protect the woman (Nadya) and principally the son (Danny). Mephisto (here with the human name Roarke) want him.

:yay:

Oh. Are there any other villains besides him or is he the only one?

Carrigan ended up becoming a demonic Scarecrow in the 2001 draft. Is there something like that in the 2010 rewrite?

I must be evil because I liked the original Ghost Rider AND Nicholas Cage.

Granted Ive read barely any Ghost Rider

The first movie was actually pretty faithful, Blaze's back story is very convulted, as is GR's, so they did a good job condensing it into 2 hours.

Sounds like a more decent movie than the first, but it remains to be seen what will actually make it to the feature film.

You havent seen any movies if you think that.

That is an over-exaggeration, but I would have to say that it's probably one of the worst comic-book movies out there.

The acting is bad, the story is choppy, and worst of all, the fights suck. None of them last longer then about a minute. If that.

And there were a lot of little things that bugged me. The first time Johnny has a huge crash for instance. His friend runs up and takes the helmet off his head, and I was instantly going

Being a football player in high school, you learn that whenever anyone is in a big collision, you never, NEVER touch their head. Because if they have a neck injury, just taking off their helmet could kill them. It's a simple rule that I've known since 9th grade. And yeah, it's a small thing, but the fact that the filmmakers didn't put in enough research to realize that made me realize exactly how the movie was going to go.

Directors Neveldine/Taylor are now in Bucharest, hanging out (and breaking into cemeteries) with Nic Cage.
