Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Ghost Rider Confirmed!

I found your post, and thought I'd share these pictures.
I ran into a guy transporting the "Ghost Rider" car to the studio for night filming. Was a real treat! I have video of the blower being 'switched' on, it's electric and silent. I'll edit that and add it to the gallery soon. Enjoy!

Hope I'm doing this right, mods! Sorry if I don't.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing!

Blaze IS the true, iconic Ghost Rider.

I have to disagree entirely. Everything cool about Ghost Rider, specifically the leather, spikes, and Penance Stare, came from Danny Ketch. He was also a kid who was learning to deal with the powers he had which made him more compelling than a carny on the run because he made a bad decision. 1970s-1980s Johnny Blaze was quite bland.

Not with a chopper or skull cycle or even a hellfire chopper :D

True, JB did have the flaming bike but I personally prefer Ketch's. I thought it looked cooler and was more practical, especially with that battering ram ability.

Even in the 70's-Early 80's his bike wasn't consistent, he had ones that were just flaming tires, ones made from Hellfire, and even had a not-on-fire Bike that was the partial inspiration for the 90's bike, notably the Skull shaped fairing.

But DoomRulz is spot on, the actual modern look of Ghost Rider owes more to Danny Ketch than Johnny Blaze.

Danny Ketch gets no respect in the MCU anymore. He is still by far, my favorite Ghost Rider. I'd rather see him than Johnny Blaze. He also has more in common with Reyes because his first run in with adversaries was with crime bosses, assassins, and serial killers. The latter of which, successfully killed his dying sister. He also struggled through school and had small side jobs and tried to be there for his alcoholic step mother.

Preach it. Though to be fair, its no the MCU's fault. Danny hasn't been getting any respect from the past decade of comics or recent movies, either. :(

Probably only because "Johnny Blaze" is a catchier name

Yeah yeah..........no. Blaze is by far the best GR for many reasons. 1st he is the GR. Without Blaze there would be no ketch.2nd the deal with the devil angle makes wayyy more sense and allows for more suspension of disbelief then the whole medallion/blood thing. Sure NOW the whole deal with the devil thing has been done to death but when GR first came out, not so much. 3rd though the art and visuals of ketch rider were far surperior than the blaze run, that is only because of the time in which it was done. There are NO comics from the 70s that would look anywhere near as good as their counterparts in th 90s+ 4th the whole flaming wheel thing for ketch didnt make near as much sense as blazes flame bike either, until Mark Steven Johnson introduced the concept of whatever he touches, he can transform. 5th ketch was a regular kid, blaze was a stunt rider, which made perfect sense as to why he would choose to conjure a bike to ride instead of something else. Why is ketch on a bike other than copying it from blaze? Oh yeah he found it. Nope, Blaze was and is.

I actually like Johnny and Danny together. They are half-brothers and I always enjoyed when they teamed up in the comics. I always thought it would be cool if they went the Supernatural Tv show route and had them together riding around fighting supernatural threats. Either both of them could be Ghost Rider like the heaven's on fire mini run or have Blaze be a former Ghost Rider with his hellfire shotgun and Danny as ghost rider like in the nineties spirit of vengeance comics.

I agree. I like them together. I think they're both important parts of the history. I don't think Ketch works without the foundation of Blaze, though.

I love Nightwing. But I don't think you can tell his story without Batman.

I don't know. I really liked the Heaven's On Fire series from 2009. I like seeing the two Ghost Rider's working together.

Is anyone hoping that Ghost Rider will get his own spin-off?

People forget that there are four Ghost Riders. Who's to say that if there's a spin-off that we won't see the others?

In a perfect world, yes. But Robbie's GR would need to be very successful, that is his popularity would need to be on the same level as Iron Man's which is supremely unlikely IMO given Ghost Rider doesn't even have a monthly series.

This version of GR has been the best that we have had, not only luna playing robbie, but i feel the effects have been really well done and it took me awhile but im starting to really dig that car.

I wish Ghost Rider wore boots instead of running shoes. They would look cooler. Still, at least he's not wearing sandals or slippers.

Oh crap, Johnny Blaze cameo in "The Good Samaritan!"

So Johnny has a bulletwound for some reason. Any idea why? And does this mean the "exhausts" of Robbie's skull are actually fractures from hitting the concrete after the car crash?

They did a good job with the origin flashbacks, I wonder if we might see the Ghost Rider's in tandem later in the season!

It makes for an interesting theory regarding the Ghost Rider skull reflecting whatever trauma the host suffered at the time of the deal (Robbie's fatal injuries, Johnny's bullet-hole, etc.)
