Do you guys think that they will show the scene with the huge Doc M?
Lol. I'm worried about how they're going to incorporate everything from the comic....I mean, obviously they can't fit everything, but there's just so much stuff in 12 issues....I don't know why you guys are so eager to see this movie get made. Arguably the greatest comic book ("graphic novel") ever made (it's even Stan Lee's favorite non-Marvel comic of all time), being adapted into a movie. I mean, it's so easy to just **** it all up on accident. Sure, Zack Snyder directed 300. Sure, he directed the Dawn of the Dead remake. But if he messes this up, he's letting down millions of people. Not to mention, Alan Moore probably won't even see the damn thing.
Alan Moore doesnt see movies based on any of his comics, he's just not intrested, so I dont see what that has to do with anything...
If he's not going to see it, I don't see the point of it. I like seeing movies of which the source material's creator is proud. But I thought From Hell was a faithful adaptation, and I believe Moore decided not to watch any more adaptations of his movies after that. I'm not sure if he's seen the LoEG movie (or "LXG"), but he has reason to hate that. I don't know if he's seen V For Vendetta either. I guess Constantine could also be credited to him as creator. I mean, it's normal for a creator to hate the movies on which their stuff is based, but....I don't know where I'm going with this. But Watchmen is Moore's greatest accomplishment, and if Moore was disappointed with From Hell, which I guess was decent, then even the slightest mistake with the Watchmen movie is going to make him go crazy. He can hate the movies if he wants, but....again, I'm just going to shut up because I'm not really going anywhere with this.
Langsta heres an interview with Alan Moore from last year where he talks about his feelings of his work being turned into movies

I'm more curious about his wang. I wonder if they'll show it. And a giant blue wang floating above the jungles of Vietnam?!.....would be such a classic, marvelous moment in cinema
