Ya know....I think that may have been how it went. I mean...how else would this 13-year old girl know that MJ causes munchies? I guess that's a common thing in movies and TV shows, but I don't remember having that specific knowledge when I was 13...lol t:
I didn't grow up in a family that didn't have any issues. I was very aware of drugs by that age. I...unfortunately...have a few crack heads in my family, and I knew about weed at that age. I just didn't know it gave you the munchies. t:At that age half there were several kids in class that smoked pot. Meanwhile we had the D.A.R.E. program and after school specials. All of this seemed to be common knowledge when I was that age. I just wish my parents taught me hussle. All I did in the boy scouts was go camping. I think this girl has a bright future.
If this is inappropriate I will promptly delete it. I don't see why it would be though. If anybody is interested in educating themselves about the real dangers and benefits of cannbis
Well, its not so much that it appeals to people, I guess. Like, when I was younger an first got interested in it it was over a number of things but ultimately, I blame Ritalin. I was put on Ritalin in first grade and took myself off of it when I was in 7th grade. Coincidentally enough the same time in my life where I first got curious about drugs. I wasn't just curious about weed either. I was curious about ALL drugs. I wanted to try them all. I mean, before then I was in the SADD Club in school and firmly stood against drugs. But after I came off Ritalin and discovered things like my older cousin, who was a massive influence on me as a kid, was smoking pot. But that curiosity was the main diving factor. I don't believe weed is a gateway drug, its just the most widely used and readily available substance. I did anything I could get my hands on when I was a kid. I'm not proud of it or anything but its a part of who I am. I don't do any other drugs besides weed now, not even alcohol, an it's been that way for years now. My point is just that when a kid starts smoking weed or gets interested in drugs there's a number of factors that parents might not be aware of effecting their child.
C'mon, Whiskey, seriously though, if she's gonna make the most money ANYWHERE, it's gonna be there. Let's be pragmatic here. Do you know how many Girl Scouts selling cookies there are down here in Florida? They're gonna make a killing come 2015/6. I'm pro-legalization, and I see nothing wrong with this, because let's face it, cannabis is objectively less dangerous than alcohol across the board.
I've said this on other websites, and I'm going to say it here. Cannabis is unique in that it's inherent properties make it both suitable for medicinal use and by itself is benign enough for recreational consumption. I say "enough" because we're human, and as a society we're used to alcohol being the norm. Which is why I would strongly argue against drinking along with partaking, and really drinking in general.
But you know what, we get to be the second post-prohibition generation. That's a major thing for anyone nowadays, so I can understand others' resistance, if resistance is what you're implying. If not, thanks for letting me get my point clear
Colorado Girl Scouts told not to sell cookies outside pot shops
Want some Girl Scout cookies to go along with your legal weed in Colorado? You'll have to plan ahead.
Girl Scouts of Colorado officials are defending the organization's decision to effectively bar its members from selling cookies outside the state's marijuana dispensaries.
"There's a place for everything, and just like a liquor store or a gun show, a marijuana dispensary isn't a place for young girls to be selling cookies," Rachelle Trujillo, chief marketing officer for the Girl Scouts of Colorado, told the Huffington Post. "There are plenty of other options for customers of adult businesses to purchase cookies at other locations."
In response to a California Girl Scout's ingenious strategy to sell cookies outside a medical marijuana dispensary, the Girl Scouts of Colorado issued a statement on its Facebook page saying members may not sell cookies outside recreational and medical dispensaries.
"Girl Scouts of Colorado doesnt allow girls to sell cookies outside of any adult-oriented business, whether that is a bar, strip club, casino, liquor store or marijuana dispensary," the statement read. "We recognize these are legitimate businesses, but we dont feel they are an appropriate place for girls to be selling cookies in Colorado."

It's the location, jmc. Not the people.
I'm not surprised they aren't advocating that either. And like I said before setting up the stand outside the store just seems inappropriate and dangerous for many reasons. Maybe some consider that overly protective, but I don't. Though, the idea was savvy. I'll give them that. People have cash, which is what the GS needs. Cash is always better. t:I didn't see an issue with the original location , but I wouldn't recommend setting up shop all over the country. It just depends on the environment. Also its no surprise the girl scout association doesn't want to advocate selling cookies outside a dispensary.
