yes but he didnt do jack to phoenix. they messed up in one of the episodes rogue hitting him hard and juggernaut didnt do a damn thing to him. so they screwed up there.

Well, I think he 'should' in the comics, but he's gotten the juggernaut and sabertooth treatment lately and jobs (loses to a hero to make them look good) everyone lately, or atleast to Hulk. Not that Hulk's not a badass, just still disturbs me that Marvel's Superman before Sentry lost to the Hulk in 2 punches . A properly written fully confident Gladiator would put up a hell of a fight if not beat Wonderwoman IMO.

Hulk beating Gladiator that way has always been extremely disgusting to me, it's just pathetic.

As to this battle, Gladiator takes this one with ease.

cartoonwise, if you watch the last episode of the dark pheonix saga you see that rogue tries it with gladiator and gets her ass royally kicked.

the only way that wonderwoman could perhaps win this bout if if she plays coy originally, so he underestimates her than she turns up the juice and his confidence goes.

but if she goes at him all out, she's toast.

besides, gladiator can drag her out into the atmosphere where the air is thin and she'll lose consciousness. Animated wonder woman was drowned by aquaman in a similar fashion, the same could applly to taking her to a region where the air is thin (since gladiator can survive in space).

Marvel has stated that Gladiator has class 100 strength that is purely physical. So even if he is totally without confidence, and it is the worst day of his life, he is still class 100 and much tougher than the thing.

His class 100 strenght and a large part of his durability are purely physical. His psionic power amplifies those qualities taking his strength beyond the class 100 level.
