Something must happen before the number because he watches him sing with Quinn and call her "the best partner" with either jealousy or disdain for what Sam is doing. Something tells me Kurt knows Sam's secret and disapproves of the musical number.

I don't think it's that apparent, but I do think it's foreshadowing. In another clip. Sam and Quinn are in a room together talking about the solar system and Sam says his favorite planet is Venus pointing at a display hanging from above, because it's the planet of love.

Quinn corrects him and says ''That's actually Mars, the planet of war."

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus? Anyone?

I see the same exact thing.

And Quinn is clearly falling for Sam and thinking it's leading somewhere.

Well getting kicked in the teeth again by life here will at least give her character something to do. Better a sympathetic story line than being a background character or in the front without much to do (Rahcel/Finn).

Puck is totally in love with her. And she's totally in love with him. It's the perfect cliche 80's-90's couple to me.

The uptight girl who places too much on being what everyone else wants her to be with the rebel.

Sam/Quinn is so boring to me. It's just pretty football player with pretty head cheerleader.

What makes them work is that they are opposites in every way. Puck is pretty much the warning label that made Quinn become the girl she was before getting pregnant, but there's just something about him that she caves into.

So turning her into a **** would just be pointless, what makes it work is that they are both sort of forbidden fruit to one another.

Eh. Personally, neither Sam/Quinn nor Puck/Quinn work for me.
