Goblin face in the explosion?

Sorry to be a newb, but I haven't seen this identified anywhere else...

In the scene in which Harry has the pumpkin-bomb explode next to his face, has anyone else besides me noticed the goblin mask appearing in the flames of the explosion?

I haven't figured out how to capture the image yet, but if someone can post a few stills of that clip, I can point it out.

(This is all assuming that this hasn't been done to death here at the hype yet.)

I can't find a still either - despite my searching through a bunch of the trailer threads.

Do it this way - slow the clip of the explosion down and watch it frame by frame. Just to the left of Harry's head (your left, his right), the flames form a goblin mask. There is even a green tint to it...

Anyone who can confirm what I'm seeing?

In the top right corner, I see the slight green tint that you are refering to. After looking it over for a while, all I can say is "sure." I could see something that possibly looks like a face... but only in the same sense where people say that clouds look like things.

There is not an intentional goblin face in the explosion... or atleast not in the teaser.

Works even better when you have the original shot without the darkened background...

Does anyone have the same shot that Welsh posted above - without the blackout effect? I'll redo the outline so that the mask REALLY stands out.

AND - Anyone doing SFX is always VERY deliberate. I think that whoever did the blast effect thought it'd be pretty cool to have Gobby's face in the flames...

It does look like a Goblin face in the explosion,it's something how the Goblin face looks like the Goblin mask from the first movie.And it is something how Harry's eyes line up with the Goblin's eyes.

No way this is an "accidental" insert - too close to be... If we were seeing The Lizard or Rhino, I'd say it was a fluke. But Harry looking at the face of the Goblin as a pumpkin bomb explodes in his face?

We just couldn't see it at first.

If your not being sarcastic, I totally agree. I want to see another cameo of Willem Dafoe. His scene in Spider-man 2 was awesome and to see him again would make the anticipation alone for 3 so intense... as if the anticipation wasn't out of control already.

This black and white version makes the goblin face stand out even MORE...

hmm that's a crazy coincidence but unless the scene is a dream which makes a transition to the goblin's face.. that's unlikely to be for real

*edit: hmm that would be a crazy dream sequence and would explain why Pete would throw a golin bomb at harry?
