I've worked with computer generation -- although not as complicated, expensive or advanced as like that in a movie such as Spider-Man 3 -- and I do have a theory that *might* relieve those who are concerned about the god awful costume of GG2.
Is it at all possible that the computer generation for GG2 hasn't been completed yet, and that the people who threw the trailer together decided to put in a clip that would make it 99% impossible to make out the mask in motion? It seems believable that this clip would assure the audience some sort of Goblin would be in the film without actually making any real details clear. Same goes for the glider I guess.
When computer generation needs to be done, actors and actresses need to wear specific clothing articles or (in this case) perhaps face-gear that would correspond to specific movements and making the generation easier to apply, i.e: Gollum from LOTR.
If this is the case, it would explain the god awful mask, and would also lay to rest any concerns about this. It is, however just a theory, but I think it has *some* potential.
