Just found that Godzilla will have a presentation at WonderCon on the 19th. Starts at 11am. I wonder what delicious footage they'll show next.

I've been seeing a lot of pics of Godzilla party favors and the like and I kind of have to laugh at how this film that is made to be quite serious and grounded is being widely marketed to children whereas Pacific Rim which had a far more heightened sensibility and was described by its director as hopefully appealing to children received almost none of that kind of thing.

Godzilla has always had that appeal. It's a monster wrecking **** and already has name recognition by parents who will be like, "I know him!"
