Ask the theater employees. The manager or someone will know if they are playing the Godzilla footage.

Dunkirk, they also did for his Bat movies. SO yeah this is a total WB move....

The first long range tracking is in and right now its in the $40 mil to $60 mil range for its opening weekend which is kinda upsetting since 2014 had a $93 mil and then Kong had a $63

I think they may just have to release the IMAX trailer online.

Man I still don't know if I want to watch that footage. It sounds amazing and usually my will power is pretty weak when it comes to this stuff, but man I want that experience of seeing it all unfold on the bigscreen with the loudest sound possible.

I'm highly skeptical of those early trackings. Way too low. That same projector mentioned that KSI would have an opening weekend of 40 mil and a domestic gross of 100 mil. That was laughably wrong.

Most of the time initial tracking starts on the lower end. It's like trying to predict a weather forecast 7 weeks out. Some films are easier to predict then others based on brand, history, etc, but this is how the game is played.

Finally saw it today at the theatres. Zilla was giving Ghidorah that side eye like he stole something. I also liked how

Ghidorah was blatantly attacking humans and Godzilla wasn't even acknowledging them but going straight for KG. Shows how their respective minds work.

How I describe the Kaiju:

Goji: Best Big Boi

Rodan: Angry Meme Birb

Mothra: YAAASSS QUEEEN

Ghidorah: The Golden *******s

There’s a sense of the Kaiju being natural disasters, so there’s a neutrality to them in the same way a storm or tsunami is a neutral event. That all goes out the window with Ghidorah, he’s the perfect foil for Godzilla in that he’s actually evil.

It'll go up. Avengers is kinda dominating the conversation at the moment. Once that's outta the way, the buzz for this should kick in.

Yup ... didn't get the footage...however I did get a version of trailer 1 with extra shots in it. Haven't seen that online. I remember not seeing clear shots of rodan and mothra in that trailer and this version had those but maybe I'm misremembering that claire de lune trailer.

The footage begins with a trailer portion then transitions into the KG awakening scene then transitions back into a trailer. Sounds like your IMAX cut out the KG scene. Strange.

The footage is online in varying quality if you want to find it.
