It's such a shame it didn't work out though. The Mummy movies with Rachel Weisz are some of the most rewatchable flicks of all time I reckon. Just beautiful!

A true classic.

I liked the original two Mummy remakes with Fraser and Weisz but Bello just wasn't Weisz in the third and none of Universal's recent attempts were any better. Still haven't seen the Cruise/Botella Mummy yet. Maybe this weekend though.

No you're right, that third one was a nightmare. I haven't seen the cruise one either and to be honest I have no appetite for it

If anyone cares, The 2D Metroidvania style tie in game The Mummy Demastered is actually really ****ing good. It was released for every major platform and far more enjoyable than the movie.
