Godzilla vs Kong (2021)

What's kong's axe made of? And who is piloting MG? Which are his motivations?

Some sort of technology from Hollow Earth. And no one. It goes haywire with a mind of its own. You could argue it’s being piloted by the DNA from Ghidorah’s skull, I suppose.

When is the trailer line said? We need Kong. The world needs him.
Any skullcrawlers present in movie?
Any thing special aboutbthe gravity in HE?
Thanks.

That line is in response that they need Kong to show them the way to Hollow Earth to see if they can find something there to stop Godzilla. Skullcrawlers are used as bait for MG.

Since it’s the middle of the earth, at one point the gravity flips and it’s dangerous on the voyage.

Hey can you just elaborate on how the carrier fight ends please? Sorry for all the questions lol

Godzilla beats Kong in the water. He sort of holds onto a carrier, sort of lifeless. Godzilla turns around to finish the job and the ships all shut off their weapons and power to “play dead”. It works and Godzilla leaves.
I have some little questions, I hope I don't put any repeated ones,

1- Is there really a fight of 5 or 8 minutes without cuts to humans?

2- what did you think of the CGI?

3- What would be an approximate height of MechaGodzilla?

1. I don’t know the exact details, but I can confirm they do not cut back to the humans often during the battles.
2. I thought it was really good. No complaints.
3. No idea lol. He’s bigger than Godzilla though.

weezerspider, a couple of weeks ago there was interview with the producers, durector and staff of the film. they said sometjing wrong happen with a plan of theirs in skull island and bad stuff happen. Can you expand on it please?

So what has caused Godzilla's rampage? Has something angered him, set him off, or is it a misunderstanding?

From what weezer's been saying, I think the fact that the humans are building MechaGodzilla is what sets him off. But there could be much more to it.

He’s attacking the facilities where MG is secretly being built because he senses the threat. The general public don’t know MG is being built, so everyone assumes he’s attacking randomly.

The whole plot revolves around them needing something to stop Godzilla since they think he’s gone rogue. Their plan is to have Kong lead them to the Hollow Earth because they think his natural instincts will lead him there. The plan goes wrong because it was commissioned by the people trying to create MG and they use the technology found in Hollow Earth to create MG.

I'll do the unthinkable and ask questions about the humans lol

What were your thoughts on the human characters and stories? Of the "Team Godzilla" and "Team Kong" stories, which one did you think was better? Also, does Godzilla interact with any humans?

Loving all these spoilers. Can’t wait to see the film only a few more weeks! :mrk:

In regards to Ren Serizawa, what is his character like and what is his overall purpose in the story?

What about the fight in hong kong? Did the "three in the mouth moment" happen once again? And did Kong blocked Godzilla's atomic breath with something?? Those are my final questions.

No, He’s definitely dead. They use Ghiodrah’s Skull to extract his DNA and use his mind control to connect a person to MG to control him. It goes haywire and MG gets a mind of his own and attacks the city. They don’t say it, but it could be interpreted that it’s Ghidorah’s mind that partially causes it to go haywire.

Nope

Thanks

Nope

Thanks. When I said alive, I meant if it's a living thing. But it's not.

So MG is basically an empty Robot that is piloted by someone "drifting" using Ghidorah's mind control powers? And then MG sort of goes berserk on its own or is probably being controlled by Ghidorah?

Team Godzilla is definitely the B-story and basically there for comic relief and to reveal information on the bad guys and MG. Godzilla never interacts with them or any other humans.Team Kong is more interesting because Kong is actually with them the whole time and it’s the main plot.

He’s the “pilot” of MG until it gets a mind of it’s own.

Yep. The Ghidorah thing may be me over thinking it.

So, is it pretty clear that Godzilla is out of Kong's weight class? Sounds like they aren't really equals.

Also, so these teamKong folks are trying to use Kong as a weapon against Godzilla, while the team Godzilla people are looking for the truth?

If you could comment on this: It sounds like "the world needs Kong" people are ignorantly putting Kong at risk by using him to provoke Godzilla. They sick Kong after him, even though they don't have to, Kong almost gets killed, and they inadvertently help Mecha G?

Honestly, this movie sounds pretty great. Hope it gets a good reception. Skull Island, '14, and KotM all seem kinda hit or miss among the Kaiju community (though I personally liked all three). Hopefully, this one manages to really bring people to a more common consensus.

thanks for answering, and now that I remember, in the trailer we see the head of MechaGodzilla during the day, does that mean that the fight against MG is during the day? and how does MG appear?

Even though the character says Kong won Round 2, they continue that fight, so there really is only 2 fights and Godzilla wins both and both times Kong is in bad shape afterwards. That said, Kong holds his own for a bit. I think they are now respectable allies, but no, Godzilla is still King of The Monsters.

They aren’t necessarily using Kong himself as a weapon as much as they are using him as a guide to find something to stop Godzilla. That thing happens to be the hammer/axe and Kong uses it in battle, but it’s not necessarily portrayed like they are trying to get them to fight. But yes, they do end up helping the bad guys all along.

[/ SPOILER] [/ QUOTE]

Por favor, responda minhas perguntas. Como o filme termina? [/ SPOILER] [/ SPOILER] [/ SPOILER] [/ SPOILER]

PARAPlease answer my question. How does the film end?

I am a huge fan of these characters, but not of this series to be honest. All three films are fine to me, but I’m not crazy about them. However, I really had a blast with this! Folks like you who enjoy all three films will love this one, I think. I think and hope others that are agnostic towards this series enjoy this one like I did!

Yes, Godzilla and Kong fight in Hong Kong all night and the next morning Godzilla defeats Kong. Godzilla only attacked HK in the first place because MG was being built there. MG bursts through the facility into the city and they fight.
