Oh I got a good one that hasn't been asked...
Is Mechagodzilla named as such in the movie? If so, who says it? Who names it?
Do we have to babysit in here until this damn thing is released?
No
No.
You shouldn't have to,we just know where the traffic came from and if they chill we'll be good.I can quit answering questions if the mods are getting too frustrated with all this new activity.
Feel free to answer questions for as long as you want to.I can quit answering questions if the mods are getting too frustrated with all this new activity.
You’re not doing anything wrong mate. Thanks for answering so many people’s questions.I can quit answering questions if the mods are getting too frustrated with all this new activity.
Thanks @weezerspider 1final question.
Does Apex do anything shady within the aircraft carrier group before Godzilla attacks?
Its the drug they are using to sedate him.
Thanks @weezerspider 1final question.
Does Apex do anything shady within the aircraft carrier group before Godzilla attacks?
I’m gonna add to this, as I believe this hasn’t been asked (trying not to be a hypocrite after my last statement XD)
We know that Godzilla is being summoned places by APEX using some kinda device (Orca Z?) and that he arrived in Hong Kong due to sensing MG, but is there ever a reason given as to why he shows up in the aircraft carrier scene? Do the undercover APEX agents activate something, does he sense Kong, or do they just happen to be the most unlucky group of scientists on the planet?
Aside from Godzilla getting knocked down, what is a scene where Kong gets the upper hand?
Weezer, Thank you so much for answering all the questions, You're a gentleman and a scholar! I was wondering if any of the main characters from Kong: Skull Island are mentioned or have roles in the film? Like Houston Brooks, Mason Weaver, James Conrad or Hank Marlow? Thanks again!
To answer both of you:
Godzilla senses another Predator(Kong) and attacks. After the battle, they decide a new safer plan from Godzilla is to carry Kong through the air as seen in the trailer.
@bubbagumpjr
I wonder if the SI perpetual storm interfers with Godzilla's senses or is there a tacit agreement between the species to stay in their own territories. Apex must only show up to the carrier group to join the HE expedition and go after the power supply.
Agreed. Those posters are amazing!!!Just wanted to say that the new Chinese theatrical posters are major bada*s!
Also, some questions for @weezerspider :
1. Do you believe the official marketing (trailers, TV spots, set photos, etc.) have revealed too much for this movie? If you could, please answer if from the perspective of a casual movie goer who has some interest in Godzilla and/or Kong and has no idea about Mechagodzilla.
2. Could you please estimate how far into the movie the following events take place:
1. Sea battle (a.k.a. Godzilla and Kong’s first meeting)
2. Hollow Earth exploration/Kong’s journey
3. Hong Kong fight/climax
3. I have avoided as many spoilers as possible but do know the final battle in Hong Kong carries into the day. Does this transition feel natural and gradual or is it kind of suddenly daylight?
4. Are there any lines from human the characters that stuck with you not featured in the trailer/TV spots thus far? Please don’t post what they are, a simple “yes” or “no” will suffice.
5. In your opinion, does Godzilla use his Atomic Breath too many times in the film? Based on the footage so far, I’m a little worried he’s too reliant on it.
6. And lastly, does the scale feel huge in this movie? One problem I personally had with Godzilla: King of the Monsters is a felt sometimes the shots were panned too far out and didn’t have much variety plus Godzilla ran awfully fast.
Sorry to bother you, but as always, thank you!
