Godzilla vs Kong (2021)

It's in a good spot now. I highly doubt Gambit make that March 13, 2020 date.

And there's no other BIG titles for March 2020 other than Onward and Mulan.

That project is dead for all intents and purposes. New Mutants will be the last official X-men movie under the Fox banner.

I wanted this movie to come out in the summer movie season of 2020. The sooner the better, though.

‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ Got Rewrites from Mike Dougherty & Zach Shields (‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’)

Mike Dougherty and Zach Shields did rewrites on the upcoming ‘Godzilla vs. Kong.’ Dougherty is the director of ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters,’ as well as the co-writer with Shields.

“We did some rewrites on the [‘Godzilla vs. Kong’] script, just to help carry certain themes across, and to flesh out some of the characters. It was my first time writing for King Kong, so it was a thrill.”

Further, the duo also wrote 2015’s ‘Krampus,’ the previous film Dougherty directed. Other films Dougherty has written include ‘X2: X-Men United,’ ‘Superman Returns,’ and his directorial debut ‘Trick ‘r Treat.’

Good there is input by the KOTM tteam on this movie.

I hope it has to do with the Monarch aspect and the characters Millie, Charles and Kyle play (my gut tells me Vera doesn't make it out alive from KOTM).

Regardless of how excited I am for KOTM, this is the movie I'm really waiting on. It all leads up to this, so let's hope it doesn't disappoint.

These two along with the Hulk were my favorite characters growing up.. King of the monsters can be off the charts good, but I will still care more about this movie due to the fact that it has Kong in it... Well unless they do something like have him get beat in the first 3 minutes and spend the rest of the movie hiding ... I mean refusing to come out due to some psychological issue that’s not easily explained in the movie itself...:loco:

I fully agree with your sentiments regarding Kong, but KOTM might make a fan out of me...it looks great. I haven't seen a single Godzilla movie, but I have seen Peter Jackson's King Kong and Kong: Skull Island. I even remember the 70's version when they went to the island looking for petroleum. I feel connected to Kong, and might even sympathize with him more because he's a fellow mammal. While I think he's a cool creature, I've never really been drawn to Godzilla. Heck, I even used to fear him as a child lol.

They should make Kong in his original size. Have him climb big G and annoy her like a feisty squirrel.

Still have no idea how this movie will top KOTM but bring on the trailer at comic-con!

They just GOTTA have a post cred tease for this in KOTM... right?
