Godzilla vs Kong (2021)

I mean, it doesn't seem like the kind of project WB has been going for on HBO Max. And then you add in that it would be something they have to license.

Has there ever been any talk of doing an in-between sequel for Skull Island? The way it ended, it seemed like they wanted to tell more stories with Hiddleston, Larson and Hawkins. I know Hawkins’ character (now played by Joe Morton) showed up for 30 seconds in KOTM but that barely counts. I’d gladly watch another adventure with them and Kong in the 1970s.

Given the interconnected universe, at first I thought you mean Sally Hawkins' character now played by Joe Morton and I was super confused :funny:

Maybe in the new Netflix anime.

I think a Kong sequel was put on hold till after GvK.

As much as I would have also loved to see a sequel to Skull Island I'll honestly take anything I can get at this point and this anime sounds like it has alot of potenital. If its successful on Netflix I hope we get more Monsterverse shows that revolve around characters like Mothra or Rodan.

Hell, I wouldn't even bet against us getting a proper Godzilla show to make up for that trash Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters and the sequels that followed it.

There is a new Godzilla anime coming out. It’ll hit around April.

Jet Jaguar, maybe anime versions of Rodan and Anguirus too in that teaser. Looks like it’s in the Shin Gojira timeline? Anyway I’ll be watching.

I wish they would do more with King Caesar. He was an interesting monster.

I can confirm Jet Jaguar is making his triumphant return.

He's a snappy dresser... And a good friend.

Did...

Did I just see Jet Jaguar?

Freaking Gabara is coming back.

I think we are getting a ton of Showa era monsters, especially the lesser ones. Gabara and Titanosaurus are also in the trailer. Definitely has nothing to do with Shin Godzilla.

Wikizilla asserts that the featured kaiju besides Godzilla include Rodan, Anguirus, Jet Jaguar , Gabara , Titanosaurus and Manda (a giant snake monster debuting in the non-Godzilla film Atragon and returning in Destroy All Monsters).
