In all seriousness I think Warstu and other leakers have been going off old info from old screenings/scripts. What Weezer is providing is the latest script/screening.

You've happened to convince the biggest skeptics lol. A lot of us are from Spoilers oriented places. Like the infamous GvK spoilers thread on Tohokingdom, and Godzilla themed Discord servers where people with legitimate sources hang out. You managed to convince all of us. And why? Because one of our sources was very impressed by the quality of your info.

I had a question about the movie though, how does Kong get to Hong Kong and fight Godzilla, like how does he know about him. I know hey go to hollow earth to find a weapon, and they find an ax.
but do they just here that Godzilla is in Hong Kong and head there, all the way from Antarctica to there, or is it something else?
Also why did Godzilla shoot at hole to hollow earth in the first place?

Kong and the humans literally go straight from Hollow Earth to HK through the hole Godzilla makes. Like I said, it’s a plot convinience at best. It’s a little cheesy. As for why Godzilla does that, as I said earlier, I am not 100% sure. He does right as they get the technology for MG and the axe, so maybe he senses the danger since his natural instincts are connect to Hollow Earth? I’m not exactly sure.

Even after the film is released, I can’t tell you guys how and why I was able to see it so early but if I did, I think the response would be a collective “Holy s**t”. Hahaha

The coolest human death is the main villain is exposition dumping about how MG will make humans the Apex Predator again and as he’s talking, you see MG wake up behind him and just approach the window to kill him. I laughed out loud. Hollow Earth is very similar to Skull Island except there’s mountains and stuff above since it’s underground. The glowing stuff is the technology /power that gives the axe its power and is used to power MG.

I think he gets back up. I honestly can’t piece everything together by memory after just one viewing. My initial thought was that is when Godzilla defeats him, but as someone pointed out, it’s at night in the trailer and the fight ends in the day, so unless they altered the shot for the trailer, my memory is mistaken. Sorry!

Also, further discussion with my friend who saw it with me has lead me to see we both interpreted something differently. Regarding Godzilla’s initial attack:

We see a metal contraption at the base where Godzilla first attacks which I thought was part of MG because it’s gone when they move to HK, but my friend thought that that was used to call Godzilla as a predator call to get him to attack, so that the general public would support MG when they revealed it to the world. Either way, he’s attacking because of the villains creating MG.

We do not hear the theme from the original film, but I THINK I heard the “Dun Dun Dun” that plays a lot in the old Showa films when Godzilla shows up. If it plays, it’s during the carrier fight and it’s subtly written into the original score, but I couldn’t figure out if it was my mind playing tricks on me because they never do it again in the movie, so I feel like I’m wrong. I’d love to see it again or hear from someone who knows more about music who sees it.
