Since when did Rare publish their own games? Nintendo published all of their games after Donkey Kong Country until their buyout by Microsoft. And everything such as IGN and Gamespot state that Nintendo published the first Perfect Dark game.Nintendo has absolutely nothing to do with Perfect Dark. Nintendo didn't publish the game, develop it or even test it aside from certification.
Really? I thought that this was a situation like Mass Effect never ending up on the Playstation 3 even though EA bought Bioware where even though the developer owns the IP but the console maker (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft) owned the publishing rights. As for Banjo, Microsoft got full rights to everything as part of the buy-out agreement.
Are you trying to out-Rare-info me? ME of all people? Rare published Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Fur Day. They also self-published Jet Force Gemini, Diddy Kong Racing and Conker's Pocket Tales (Gameboy Color). If I'm not mistaken, Rare still owns Diddy Kong. The difference is that Microsoft never owned Bioware, so there weren't any shady buy-out trade-offs between EA and Microsoft.Really?
